Bollywood’s hearty bachelor, Salman Khan needs no introduction. Ruling the silver screens for many decades now, the actor enjoys a massive fan base. But, the flip side of the coin in his stardom is the fact that his life is often at risk. For the unversed due to his involvement of the infamous black buck killing case, he has been under the hitlist of the Bishnoi goon, Lawrence Bishnoi. The latter has repeatedly and quite openly declared his ardent wish to murder the actor if he does not issue a public apology.

As the frequency of death threats has increased for Salman Khan, it seems that the actor has enhanced his measures of defence against the same. According to a report in Spotboye, Salman has reportedly purchased a Nissan Patrol high-end bullet-proof SUV. Moreover, the report further states that the four-wheeler is not available in India and has been imported especially by the actor from UAE. The approximate price of the car is around 206,000 AED which amounts to Rs. 45.89 Lakhs in Indian currency.

Salman Khan’s security beefed up amidst death threats

About a month back, the actor's team received a death threat via email. As soon as a case was registered against the same, Mumbai Police beefed up security to the top-notch level in and around the actor’s residence to ensure his safety. Reportedly, the email contained an invitation for Salman to join and meet Lawrence Bishnoi face to face.

On the work front, Salman Khan is gearing up for his upcoming film, Kisi Ki Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan that is slated to release on April 21, 2023. A few days back during the promotional event of the film, Salman engaged in a candid chat at the 68th Filmfare Awards press conference. When he was asked to mention some of the younger actors who could replace him in future, he gave a savage response for the same. He mentioned his name along with some of his colleagues like Aamir Khan, Shah Rukh Khan, Akshay Kumar and Ajay Devgn as the actors who have refused to retire and can still give any new actor a run for the money.
