On Salman Khan’s birthday in 2018, a video of him jamming with Shah Rukh Khan had gone viral on social media. The video had King Khan and Bhai of B-town singing the song, Pyar Humein Kis Mod Pe from the film, Satte Pe Satta. It was indeed a special treat for Salman’s fans as the video was a beautiful moment of him, sharing the frame with his friend-turned-foe-turned-friend, Shah Rukh and it had given major friendship goals.

Back in the late 1990s and early 2000s, Salman Khan’s love affair with Aishwarya Rai had dominated the news headlines. Did you know Aishwarya was originally signed for the film, Chalte Chalte and was later replaced by Rani Mukerji? As per the reports, Salman had interrupted the film’s mahurat shot and created a scene, accusing Shah Rukh of getting too friendly with his then-girlfriend, Aishwarya. When asked about the same in an interview with Rediff, Shah Rukh had joked, “The only difference was that when Rani came in, I was not required to wear high-heeled shoes. Seriously, Rani was actually the first choice for the film. But the film was delayed and Rani got busy with other projects. During their dating phase, Salman Khan was offered to play the role of Aishwarya Rai’s brother in a film? Apparently, Salman was offered to play Aishwarya's on-screen brother in the Mansoor Khan film, Josh. However, he had rejected the offer and it was then played by King Khan, Shah Rukh Khan. In a throwback interview with a media portal, after breaking up with Salman, Aishwarya had put the onus of the break-up on him and was quoted as saying, “I stood by him enduring his alcoholic misbehaviour in its worst phases and in turn I was at the receiving end of his abuse (verbal, physical and emotional), infidelity and indignity. That is why like any other self-respecting woman I ended my relationship with him.”

In a throwback interview with The Times of India, Aishwarya Rai had revealed many shocking reasons behind her breakup with Salman Khan. She had stated, “Salman and I broke up last March, but he isn't able to come to terms with it. After we broke up, he would call me and talk rubbish. He also suspected me of having affairs with my co-stars. I was linked up with everyone, from Abhishek Bachchan to Shah Rukh Khan. There were times when Salman got physical with me, luckily without leaving any marks. And I would go to work as if nothing had happened.”
