Saira Banu's entire world stood still two years ago on the same day with the demise of her beloved husband, Dilip Kumar. The legendary actress has been away from the world of glam and glitz after getting married to Dilip Kumar. For her, he was her entire world, and after his demise, Saira Banu confided herself, and reports were rife that she wasn't able to get over Dilip Kumar's death. However, it seems like Saira Banu decided to re-live the best days of her life, and this time with her millions of fans as she made her Instagram debut.
On July 7, 2023, Saira Banu made her Instagram debut and shared an adorable post. In the first photo, we can see Saira and Dilip's wedding picture. In another photo, Saira and Dilip Kumar were seen together as they enjoyed the weather in their home garden. Alongside it, Saira Banu penned a heartwrenching note. She started her post with a shayari, which can be read as:
"Sukoon-E-dil ke liye kuch toh ehtemaam karoon, zara nazar jo miley phir unhe salaam karoon, mujhe toh hosh nahin aap mashwara dijiyey. kaha se chedoon fasana kahan tamaam karoon."

In her note, Saira Banu further revealed that her world stood still on July 7 at 7 in the morning, when her loved one, Dilip Kumar passed away. Remembering the heartwrenching moment, Saira Banu revealed that she begged God that Dilip Kumar reacts to his favourite couplet. She wrote:
"I am writing this note on the 7th of July to especially express my gratitude to the overwhelming multitude of caring well-wishers and dearest friends from the world over who have so tremendously swept me off my feet till today with their everlasting remembrance, love and respect for my Kohinoor, Dilip Kumar Sahib. This is the day, “7th of July” at “7 am” when time stood still, and my loved one slid into a deep slumber. I pleaded with the Almighty that, ‘Sahib’, as I always called him should react to one of his favourite couplets. Uth Apni Jumbish-E-Mizgaan Se Taaza Kar De Hayaat Keh Ruka Ruka Qadam-E-Qayenaat Hain Saqi."
Dilip Kumar and Saira Banu had an age gap of 22 years, yet it never became a problem in their 'happily ever after'. The beautiful Saira Banu had always been a pillar of support in the life of Dilip Kumar, and there was never a day when they had fought. While every girl was in love with the superstar, his heart was beating only for the love of his life, Saira. The couple got married in 1966.
Saira Banu and Dilip Kumar didn't have a child. In Dilip Kumar's biography, the late legendary actor revealed the reason and shared the unfortunate incident. He shared that in 1972, Saira Banu conceived, but due to high blood pressure in her eighth mother of pregnancy, she had a miscarriage. The baby wasn't able to survive as he got strangulated by the umbilical cord. Post this, the couple never had a baby considering it to be God's will.
