She revealed that survivors had to speak about their experiences only when they were comfortable and ready. Saanvie had worked with Karan in the TV show named Yeh Kahan Aa Gaye Hum and had stated how the actor had taken advantage of her.

Saanvie Tallwar stated that she spoke about Karan Kundrra and she really felt the need to do the same. The actress stated that she is now very comfortable discussing about the issue as it is her personal choice and she does not worry about public opinion. In her words:
"If I believe something is right, I should speak about it. I have learned that I should speak when I genuinely feel ready to do so. Earlier, I chose to speak only to those whom I felt it was important to talk to. As stories pass from one person to another, they often get distorted."

Saanvie Tallwar was also asked why she decided to talk about the issue after a considerable period and what message she had for women who hesitated to speak about their experiences. Tallwar revealed that everyone should come forward in their own space and revealed:
"I want to tell every woman that if something wrong has happened to you and you were unable to speak about it earlier, it is never too late. Come forward when you feel ready. If you never speak about your experiences, people will never know the truth."
For the unversed, Saanvie had made the allegation that Karan Kundrra had kissed her without consent when they were working on Yeh Kahan Aa Gaye Hum. She had also made the claims that producer Ektaa Kapoor had to intervene post the alleged incident and then changes were made to the direction team of the show.
It is worth mentioning that Karan Kundrra has not yet commented on the explosive allegations made by Saanvie. The actress had accused the actor of harassment and also assault when the filming of the show was taking place. Karan's girlfriend, Tejasswi Prakash, has also not opened up about the claims made.
Saanvie, in separate interviews with varied publications, claimed that tensions on the set started off when she decided to keep to herself rather than mingle with the cast and crew. She revealed that she kept to herself rather than socialise with the full cast and crew. It seems this did not sit well with Karan and also the show's director.
Saanvie had alleged that during the shooting of a scene, things had escalated into an altercation, after which the environment had become hostile. Saanvi, in an interview with Filmibeat, stated that there was a scene, but the director hadn't clapped action. Even before that, he kissed her, and Saanvie slapped him back. In her words:
"He didn't react at that time, but then he came back after some time and slapped me hard. There is a difference between the intensity of a girl's and a man's slap. I fell on the floor, and then he abused me and my family."
Saanvi further revealed that no one on the sets had come to support her, and later Ektaa Kapoor had apologised to her on Karan's behalf and had also supported her. She had managed to make things easy. Saanvi also revealed that Karan was dating Anusha Dandekar at that time. She was visiting the sets post the alleged incident. However, she claimed that the work environment had become tough due to Kundra and the director.
