Deepika and Ranveer were snapped outside a restaurant in Bandra last night (January 31, 2019), And as the paparazzi clicked them, the two waved at the shutterbugs. Ranveer then suddenly bowed down and started rubbing off something from Deepika's jeans. And just like his infectious energy, his PDA is something which every girl would crave for! DeepVeer's PDAs are something which can make our days and lift our moods. Deepika recently revealed in an interview, the solid foundation of her relationship with Ranveer, “Over a period of time because it's the small things that he did and the little things that he said which made me believe and feel more and more that he's the person I want to spend the rest of my life with. The foundation of our relationship is just solid friendship and for any successful relationship, that's very essential. It started off on that note right from the beginning and over the years that we have dated, it only became stronger and stronger. Over a period of time, I don't think there was that one definite moment.”
Ranveer has been busy promoting his upcoming film, Gully Boy. At the trailer launch of the same, the 33-year-old actor revealed his wife, Deepika’s feedback was after watching the trailer, “Trailer unhone dekhi nahi hai. Teaser dekha toh bohot pasand aaya. It was a very novel approach. Zoya madam ne khud apne haathon se kaata hai. She loved the teaser and she is very proud of me.”
Do you know, within six months into their relationship Ranveer knew that Deepika is the ‘one’ for him? In an interview with Filmfare, Ranveer recently shared, “Six months into the relationship, I knew she was the one. I nurtured the relationship accordingly. It’s been six years now. She’s too good, too lovely. She’s a force of nature. I understood that almost immediately. I’m lucky to have her. I knew all too well that this is the woman I’m going to marry. This is the woman who would become the mother of my children. I’ve been thinking about marriage seriously for almost three years now. Deepika, just like a caring and solid wife, has all the control in the house and even on her husband, Ranveer. On Famously Filmfare, Ranveer was quoted as saying the things which Deepika has forbade him to do, “Staying out of the house till too late, leave the house without eating and miss her calls”. Talking about Deepika, he was also quoted as saying, "She is so gharelu...I love it...I love it. I am telling you I am going to be the husband of the millennium. I am going to glide and breeze through it."
Talking about marriage, the Simmba actor told a media portal, “I’ve grown up seeing a marriage where the attitude is to make it work regardless of anything. A marriage is a commitment, out is not an option. So, whatever you have to work through, you do. The most sensible and convenient thing was for me to move into her set-up. She is comfortable there and I don’t want to displace her. I always try to give her priority.”
On being asked if marriage will change the course of her acting career, Deepika shared with a media house, “Everyone is married. Does that mean that the industry comes to a standstill? Does that mean that we have no girls left? I guess, previously it was the person’s choice more than box-office diktats. If actresses didn’t work after marriage, it was their decision to prioritise something else overwork. Probably, they were exhausted and just wanted to live life and nurture their families. But I’m sure the millennial woman doesn’t feel like that. When you don’t feel like that, it won’t be that way”.
Ranveer recently called marrying Deepika his biggest achievement in life. He was quoted as saying, "I couldn't have asked for more. I am the happiest I have ever been. Everything that has happened this year is beyond my imagination. Accolades and acclaim for Padmaavat were unprecedented. I couldn't have dreamed the bliss life handed out to me. My marriage — Deepika gave me a dream wedding and an even better marriage. She had a vision for everything and worked meticulously on every detail. She gave me a memorable wedding that will be in my heart forever. I feel safe, secure and loved. Something has changed inside me; I am living the dream."
