The diva has proven her mettle in acting by working in some blockbuster films like Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, Hichki, Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham, Mardaani, Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna, Chalte Chalte, Veer-Zaara and many more. Talking about her personal life, Rani is happily married to the filmmaker, Aditya Chopra and the lovebirds are blessed with a baby girl, Adira.
In the latest interview with Film Companion, Rani Mukerji opened up about her husband, Aditya Chopra and their equation. On being asked about how much influence she has on her husband when it comes to his work, the actress jokingly said that Aditya should be answering this, but he is shy. She then added that as a couple, they have mutual respect for each other's work. Mentioning how they discuss each other's work, Rani said:
"A lot of influence, ab kya mai batau, khudke muh se kaise batau mai, woh to batane wala hai nahi, itna shy hai bechara. As a wife, today we are that couple, that there is a mutual respect for each other's work. We also discuss each other's work because we are from the same fraternity. There have been times, where he talks to me about his work, I talk to him about the work that I am doing."

Further, on being asked if she ever asks for work from her husband, Aditya Chopra, the actress revealed that she is too egoistic as an actor. Talking more about it, Rani mentioned that there have been times when she has refused offers given by Aditya. Stating how Aditya understands her point of view, Rani said:
"No, I am too egoistic as an actor. I am very very contented where I am. So I know that when there is a right film for me, he would definitely want to cast me but there are so many times when he thinks I am the right fit but I don't think I am the right fit so I say no. And it's easier to refuse him because he is my husband, he has to understand, he has to be understanding."
In the same conversation, Rani revealed that she and her husband, Aditya love watching films in theatre. Talking about the same, the actress revealed that every Friday, they watch a movie together in YRF studios. Rani then added that when they are abroad, they go everywhere and do everything like any other couple. Elaborating more about it, she said:
"The best time that Adi and me have is when we go to watch a movie together. That's something that we continue to do every friday. When we are outside India, we go everywhere, it is lovely to hold hands and all. It's quite lovely."

Earlier, in an interview with ETimes, Rani had opened up about why she kept her daughter, Adira away from social media and the limelight. The actress revealed that as her daughter is in a growing stage, it is important to protect her from public attention. Further, the doting mommy mentioned that when her daughter grows up, she and her husband, Aditya will leave it to her whether she wants to be on social media or not.
On the professional front, Rani was last seen in the superhit film, Mrs Chatterjee vs Norway.
