January 27, 2019, was no different! At the star-studded Umang festival for the Mumbai police that takes place every year in Mumbai, B-town celebrities acknowledge Mumbai police for all their hard work, protection, awareness and efforts to keep the city safe. Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt too attended the 2019 event together and made heads turn with their appearance. While Alia looked gorgeous in a light green coloured anarkali suit and accentuated her look with a pair of chaandbalis and by keeping her hair open with curls, her boyfriend, Ranbir suited up in style, wearing a white shirt with a blue suit, trousers and a tie. Ranbir and Alia happily posed for the shutterbugs.
Sometime back, there were reports doing the rounds that there is trouble in Alia and Ranbir’s paradise and it disheartened their fans. Rumours were rife that Ranbir gets irritated with Alia’s constant calls and messages, and he doesn’t like her regular intrusion in his private space. On the other hand, Alia is also upset with Ranbir’s behaviour because she feels she is the only one putting effort into the relationship. While she is leaving no stone unturned to mingle with the Kapoors and going an extra mile maintaining a cordial relationship with them, Alia believes Ranbir should more efforts in their relationship.
A few months ago, there were reports about Alia and Ranbir taking their relationship to the next level by becoming 'mister and missus' in 2019! A close family friend of the Kapoors threw light on the same and shared, “She has been welcomed into the family by everyone. So it’s not just Ranbir who loves Alia. His parents, sister and the rest of the sprawling Kapoor family adore her too. Marriage is on Ranbir’s mind for sure and he will get into it happily this time. Speaking about career and marriage, Alia had once stated in an interview, “I would never fear getting married thinking my career might end. I will settle down if I want to. One should be able to have a career, regardless of being married or not.” The actress was all praises for her beau in an interview. Shedding light on the same, she had stated, “It’s been great working with him. It’s exactly how I imagined it to be. I’ve always thought that Ranbir is such an amazing actor. I’m at times shocked at how chilled out he is (laughs).”
Speaking about the happy and beautiful phase of his life, Ranbir shared in an interview, “I am in a happy, positive and beautiful phase of my life. But you can talk about your personal life only to a degree. Otherwise, it becomes the forerunner of your life and your work takes a back seat. There is always excited to know about someone’s personal life. But you want to give the relationship respect so that people don’t malign it in a gossipy way.
