The couple is enjoying their parenthood phase with their newborn baby, whom they've welcomed through surrogacy. For the unversed, it was on January 22, 2022, when Priyanka and Nick had announced the arrival of their firstborn on their respective social media handles.

On April 12, 2022, Priyanka Chopra Jonas took to her IG handle and shared two throwback pictures from one of her nani's birthdays. In one of the pictures, the 6-year-old Priyanka was seen sitting next to her nani while her mom, Madhu and cousin sat next to her. In another picture, baby Priyanka was seen feeding her nani a piece of cake. Baby Priyanka looked cute as a button in a purple-coloured top paired with a red skirt.
Sharing the pictures from her nani's birthday, Priyanka penned a note in the caption, expressing gratitude for the strong maternal figures in her family. The actress also recalled how her nani had raised her when her parents were focusing on their studies and medical careers. Her note can be read as:
"All of 6, celebrating my Nani’s (maternal grandmother) birthday. She helped raise me while my mom and dad balanced studying and a medical careers. She was a hugely consistent part of my upbringing. I feel so lucky that I had so many strong maternal figures in my life. I’m so grateful for you all. Miss you always Nani. Also @chickyp85 looking most adorable as always! PS- why do I look so diabolical in the first picture? Your thoughts?"

Fast forward to today, Priyanka Chopra Jonas has become a mother, making her mom, Madhu Chopra, a nani. Earlier, in an interview with the ETimes, Priyanka Chopra's mother, Madhu Chopra had revealed that she had only seen her granddaughter on FaceTime. She had added that since Priyanka is in LA, she is managing the baby on her own and is acing her motherly duties. She had said:
"I haven't seen her. I am here and she is in LA. We do Facetime once in a while. I think she is happy and joyous. This is all I can say for now. But maybe when I go and meet her in the middle of the year, I will be able to answer this better."
On the work front, Priyanka Chopra Jonas was last seen in the film, The Matrix Resurrections.
