The upscale dining place has been named 'Sona' and it is a dream come true for Priyanka. The actress has shared the pictures of a small puja which she had performed with her darling hubby, Nick in September 2019. Alongside it, Priyanka wrote, "I’m thrilled to present to you SONA, a new restaurant in NYC that I poured my love for Indian food into. SONA is the very embodiment of timeless India and the flavours I grew up with. The kitchen is helmed by the incredible Chef @harinayak a masterful talent, who has created the most delicious and innovative menu, taking you on a food journey through my amazing country. Priyanka is a doting wife, and she often proves it. On February 21, 2021, Priyanka, who was in London had surprised her hubby, Nick with beautiful balloon decoration. And Nick, being the doting husband, had taken to his Instagram handle and had shared a video of the awesome decoration. Alongside the video, Nick had written, "My wife surprised me (all the way from London) with this today. thank you. @priyankachopra you're the best. SNL here we come!." In an interaction with Shobhaa De at the virtual edition of the Jaipur Literature Festival, Priyanka Chopra had opened up on her then-beau and now-husband, Nick Jonas' first meeting with her mother, Madhu Chopra. Priyanka had recalled the hilarious incident when Nick had met Madhu ji for the first time, that too in nightwear. The gorgeous had actress said, "It was not supposed to be an introduction to parents. I forgot that she’d be up. And she still teases me about it. I forgot to call her because it was 1 o’clock at night and we were like 10 minutes away. So by the time we took the decision of coming to my house, we were already there."
She had further added, "My mother was so shocked! It was 1 o’clock at night, she is wearing is nightie and we won’t forget this because it was weird for me as well. You are bringing a guy home, it was like kind of strange, and she jumps out of bed terrified. She was like, “Oh! One second”. She goes to her bathroom and starts wearing lipstick. She calls me in and says, “Why didn’t you tell me? I am not going to come out!” I said if you are not coming out then why are you putting your lipstick on?"
