While the details about Priyanka and Nick’s wedding have been kept under the wraps, we know that the lovebirds will be exchanging the nuptial vows at Umaid Bhawan Palace, Jodhpur. According to a DNA report, the Chopra-Jonas families have booked the Taj Umaid Bhawan Palace for the wedding from November 29, 2018, to December 3, 2018. As per a source, “The couple has booked the fort from November 29 to December 1. It will be closed for tourists on these three days.”
When the aforementioned media portal called the Palace and inquired for the reservations, the hotel personnel at the reservation counter said, “None of the rooms are available on these dates. We have rooms till November 28 and again starting from December 4. We are completely booked for the five days in between.” Do you know how much Priyanka and Nick are shelling out for their wedding festivities?
The grand yellow sandstone property, Umaid Bhawan Palace has 64 luxurious rooms and suites i.e. 22 palace rooms and 42 suites which are further segregated into four types - 24 historical suites, 10 royal suites, 6 grand royal suites and 2 presidential suites. Nick Jonas might join her as well. The same helicopter has also been booked to ferry guests from Jodhpur airport to Umaid Bhawan Palace. The helicopter will take five-six rounds to ferry the guests.”
Priyanka and Nick’s pre-wedding festivities will kickstart on an auspicious note on November 28, 2018. As per the sources, Priyanka wanted police protection to travel from Umaid Bhawan Palace to Mehrangarh Fort and she even hired a private security agency for the same. But the Jodhpur police couldn’t provide the protection citing the upcoming assembly elections in Rajasthan. An official from Mehrangarh Fort also confirmed that the booking has got cancelled.
