Undoubtedly, the global icon, Priyanka Chopra and her darling hubby, Nick Jonas, set new bars for the couple goals for the fans every now and then. The lovebirds got married in the year 2018. The duo is enjoying the best days of their lives as they embraced the parenthood journey by welcoming their daughter, Malti Marie Chopra Jonas, in 2022. Now and again, we have seen glimpses of cutesy camaraderie between the doting couple, and we cannot deny that it wins our hearts every time. However, in a recent interview, PeeCee split the beans about their first date and said that, at first, she was not even ready for long-term commitments.
While speaking with Howard Stern, PeeCee revealed that she was initially scared of getting her heart broken, so she did not go on their first date. The actress revealed that for their first date, Nick invited her to the White House for President Obama's farewell dinner, which she did not attend. The actress also said that they first went out to watch Beauty and the Beast at the Hollywood Bowl, and Nick was smart enough to invite her with some friends so that the pressure of the first date could be lessened. The actress said they were together for eight hours that night. Priyanka Chopra revealed:
"One of the first ones he asked me to was to the White House, for President Obama, a farewell dinner or something. I didn’t go. I was afraid of getting into anything at that time, I had been through the wringer and I was afraid of being heartbroken. Then we went finally to watch Beauty and the Beast at the Hollywood Bowl. Nick was smart, he invited me along with friends and the pressure of first date was off. I forgot what I was wearing but Nick remembers. That night we spent 8 hours together."

Further in the same interview, the actress revealed that she and Nick went for a Dodgers game alone. PeeCee said she was too excited to spend alone time with Nick, and she even felt butterflies in her stomach. PeeCee revealed:
"And next day we went to a Dodgers game. I was excited to go and have alone time with him, I had butterflies and it was all uphill from there."
In the same interview, the actress revealed what it is like to date a musician. Priyanka said it was magical and she was completely surprised the first time Nick wrote a song for her. PeeCee then shared a romantic story of the night Nick first played a song he had written for her.
The actress said they were on the way to lunch that night when he offered to play her a song with phrases Nick wrote for her. PeeCee said that she didn't want to assume this was about her, but Nick corrected her by saying that as he is not a man of many words, his songs would be love letters to her. Is not it 'awwdorable?' Priyanka shared:
"The first time he did that, that was a good night for him. We were driving to lunch. He said I will play something for you and the song had phrases I used, he asked if it was familiar and said I wrote this for you. I didn’t want to presume that this is for me or about me. But he said ‘I am not a man of many words, so my songs will be my love letters to you.’ That was what sealed the deal. When you know, you know."

Undoubtedly, the internet cannot get over the glimpses from the Gala night. One of the most adorable glimpses of the Met Gala 2023 was of Nick's sweet gestures to his doting wifey, Priyanka Chopra. Videos of the same have been doing rounds on the internet where Nick was seen holding PeeCee's hand to help her climb up the stairs and holding a mic. Nick is such a gentleman.
