Soon after their engagement, reports of Niti and Parikshit’s 2020 wedding emerged on the internet and a source had informed IMWBuzz, "The Kaisi Yeh Yaariyan girl will get hitched to her Indian army officer fiancé on 20th Feb." Reacting on the wedding rumours, Niti neither confirmed nor denied the reports and was quoted as saying to the same portal, "Hahaha wait for February to know whether it’s true or not."
Amidst the reports of Niti Taylor and Parikshit Bawa’s February 2020 wedding, the lovebirds headed off to Goa with the Bawa family. Niti posted a picture with her fiancé, Parikshit from Goa and they both looked adorable, twinning in black. From having a beach party to performing water sports, Niti also posted Insta stories to give glimpses of her Goa vacation. Niti Taylor had revealed her marriage plans in an interview with the Bombay Times. She had stated in 2019, "We don’t plan to get married this year. Hopefully, it should happen next year. My fiancé’s job takes him to different places, while I am currently based in Mumbai." Expressing her happiness on not marrying someone from the industry, Niti had continued, "I have always said that I will not marry someone from showbiz. I am happy that I am getting married to a man of my parents’ and my choice."
In an interview with the Bombay Times, Niti Taylor had revealed how love blossomed between her and Parikshit Bawa. She had stated, “I knew Parikshit from school and back then, we were good friends. A few months ago, we reconnected on Instagram. When I started to know him better, I realised that he is a gem of a person. I met him in Delhi. My parents met him too, and they also liked him a lot. The best part about having Parikshit in my life is that we share the same qualities.” If marriage is on the cards, Niti had retorted, “We don’t plan to get married this year.
