The gorgeous couple had tied the knot with each other on November 14-15, 2018 in both Konkani and Sindhi style. It was love at first sight for Ranveer when he had met Deepika at the Zee Cine Awards in Macau. In an interview with India TV, when Ranveer was asked about his reaction when he saw Deepika for the first time, the Bajirao Mastani actor had replied, “The first time I saw her, I almost went flat!" The most loved couple of Bollywood is enjoying every moment of their married life and the pictures shared by them on their respective social media handles are proof of the same.
Deepika and Ranveer always make their fans go awww with their cute social media banters and January 25, 2020, was no different. Ranveer shared the first look of his upcoming film, 83 on his Instagram handle and wrote, “KAPIL’S DEVILS STORM CHENNAI !!!" It was his wife, Deepika’s adorable comment on his post which took our hearts away. She commented, “Don’t come back without 1kg Mysore Pak from Shree Krishna and 2 1/2kg packets for Spicy Potato Chips from Hot Chips!”
Ranveer and Deepika are one of those couples, who wear their hearts on their sleeves and never shies away from expressing their love for each other. The two often make sure to pull each other’s leg with their cute social media banters. On November 19, 2019, Deepika had posted a picture of Ranveer where he could be seen in an orange t-shirt and his back was facing the camera. His t-shirt had a quote, which was read as “Love is a Super power”. Deepika’s comment on his post would surely melt your heart as she had written, “& you...my super drug!” followed by a heart emoji. Ranveer wears his heart on his sleeves for his ladylove, Deepika. He is not just a humble actor but an ideal husband, who has always supported his wife throughout the highs and lows in her career. In an interview with the Mumbai Mirror, Deepika had revealed that Ranveer is quite confident about himself which is one of the major reasons why he doesn’t mind if his wife overshadows him. She credited her husband, who is the reason why she believes that good men still exist.
She had also revealed how she used to be anxious during her long shooting hours for Chhapaak and whether Ranveer would be upset about her coming home late. She had revealed, “I’d have a long day but I didn’t feel anxious about whether he would be upset about me coming home late or because I hadn’t called. I have been in relationships where I didn’t have that. When you don’t have to worry about such things, it allows you to focus on work.”
After six months of their courtship, Ranveer had known that Deepika will be the mother of his children. In an interview with the Filmfare, Ranveer had stated, “Six months into the relationship, I knew she was the one. I nurtured the relationship accordingly. It’s been six years now. She’s too good, too lovely. She’s a force of nature. I understood that almost immediately. I’m lucky to have her. I knew all too well that this is the woman I’m going to marry. This is the woman who would become the mother of my children. I’ve been thinking about marriage seriously for almost three years now.
