Bollywood’s desi girl and now an international name, Priyanka Chopra found her true love in the singing sensation, Nick Jonas. After seeing each other for a while, PeeCee and Nick had a traditional roka ceremony on August 18, 2018, in Mumbai at former’s bungalow. After the rituals got over, the lovebirds instantly took to their Instagram handles to make an official announcement. Later, on December 1-2, Nickyanka (as their fans love to call them) tied the knot as per Christian as well as Hindu wedding rituals.
Ever since Priyanka and Nick made it official, there have been many instances when the two were judged for being together. Whether it is their age difference or people accusing Priyanka of marrying Nick only for the sake of Green Card, Priyanka and Nick’s love has been questioned ample of times. So much so that, lately the rumours of their divorce also did the rounds. Nonetheless, nothing could become a hurdle in their relationship, and they are a happily married couple. Recently, in an interview with E! News, Nick got candid about having kids with Priyanka and how he sees future in everything he does with Priyanka. Nick was quoted as saying, "I think that in everything we do, you know, my brothers and I, Priyanka and I, everything we do we think about the future. And building something that becomes a part of a legacy in some way, and a story we can share with our kids in the future."
Earlier, in an interaction with Spotify’s The Rewind, Nick had shared his baby plans with Priyanka. At that time, the international singing sensation was quoted as saying, “I definitely want to be a father someday. I think that’s a real dream, and I think I have had to grow up real quick.” The 26-year-old added, “With that, you could look at it two ways, you could say that was unfair, or you could say it has given me some real perspective at an early age. On the other hand, even Priyanka had once told E! News, “I just have a few of my friends who are having babies right now. And I’m like ‘God I need to catch up.” In an interview post her wedding, Priyanka had revealed the reason behind two weddings. She had remarked, “We are taking beautiful traditions that we both grew up with and we are personalizing them in a way that makes sense for us. It's been incredible to find the commonalities between our beliefs and figuring out how to blend them in a respectful and meaningful way.”
Recently, rumours were rife that Priyanka and Nick were expecting their first baby together. Post that, Priyanka herself had talked to the media and brushed off the pregnancy rumours. She had remarked, “We both know that that’s something that needs to happen, but it’s not something I think about very much. We’re both very driven, we love our work, we’re married to our work, and we’re both very supportive of each other’s work. So, I’m sure it will happen in an organic way. During the promotions of Isn't It Romantic, Priyanka had revealed how Nick had prosed to her. Calling it romantic, she had said, "Greece. That's where Nick proposed to me and it was so romantic. So I think it's associated in my head with that. I think you find romance wherever you find romance. It's actually the feeling that makes that place like, super special." Speaking about how he popped up the question to his ladylove, on Priyanka’s 36th birthday trip to Greece, Nick had shared earlier, "I got down on one knee, again, and I said, 'Will you make me the happiest man in the world and marry me?'"
