With Prateik Babbar-Sanya Sagar, Sheena Bajaj-Rohit Purohit entering the bond of holy matrimony soon, another publicity-shy couple, Neeti Mohan and Nihaar Pandya are planning to tie the nuptial knot in the first quarter of 2019. As per a Mumbai Mirror report, Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi debutante and Deepika Padukone’s ex-boyfriend, Nihaar is all set to tie the knot with Ishq Wala Love fame singer, Neeti Mohan in February 2019. Neither of the two has confirmed the news but an insider source close to the couple informed that they are keen to keep the news under the wraps. Now that the news of the wedding has leaked out, Neeti and Nihaar are planning to keep other details under the wrap.
Earlier a Pinkvilla report quoted a source as saying, "Neeti and Nihaar have been dating each other for the past four years now. They recently decided to take their relationship one step ahead. They would be tying the knot in February 2019 in Mumbai. Their family and friends from the industry will be a part of the celebration. While the sangeet, mehndi and the wedding is a close-knit affair, the reception invites will go to their friends from the industry."
While another source added, "Nihaar is currently busy with the prep for the wedding and is also gearing up for the release of his debut film Manikarnika. The movie hits the screens on January 25, 2019. Post that, he will dive deep into the last minute wedding prep."
Nihaar Pandya often shares pictures on his social media handle with Neeti Mohan’s family and looks like he has gelled up with them quite well. On November 19, 2018, i.e. on Neeti’s birthday, Nihaar shared a Snapchat filtered photo with her and wrote, “Happy Birthday @neetimohan18 .. I have a few pics where your talent is way better than these filters.. #nofilter #nofilterneeded .. will share them soon.. haha.. You continue to spread the Love and smiles wherever you go . On May 2018, Nihaar posted a complete ‘famjam’ picture with all the Mohan sisters in one frame. He captioned the picture as, “The best things in Life are 'Furry'. On Neeti’s star-sister Mukti Mohan’s birthday on June 21, 2018, Nihaar took to his social media handle to post a lovely message for his alleged soon-to-be saali and wrote, “Here's wishing the Happiest Birthday to this bundle of Talent and JOY, @muktimohan. May you be blessed to continue spreading Love and smiles wherever you go .. Tu Kamaal hai”. To which, Mukti replied, “My Neeneeeee thank you so much much love to Gol from Golu.” Here’s the picture:
When Nihaar was asked in a 2016 interview if he is still in touch with his ex, Deepika, he had then stated, ''Yes, we are very much in touch. It's nowhere close to the way it has been portrayed so far with reports suggesting that both of us are waiting to run each other down or anything.''
In another interview in 2016, Nihaar praised Deepika for all the work that she was doing and was quoted as saying, ''She got a chance and she is doing phenomenally well and improving with every film that she is doing which is great. On my front, it has taken long, rather long. But I have been told that a hopeless optimist is the right way to be.'' He had further added, ''It's all very much on a friendly note. But these days when you say friends people feel there is something more to it and we should check with the other person as well. Unfortunately with these relationships that I have been tagged, there is a wrong notion among people that I am wanting to be with an actress. That is not how we had planned it.
