Neena Gupta recalls shooting for her first-ever kissing scene

In an interview with Instant Bollywood, Neena Gupta opened up about her first on-screen lip kiss and revealed that it was with her co-star, Dilip Dhawan, for a TV show, Dillagi. Talking about the same, the actress shared that she was not at all comfortable performing the scene as Dilip and her were mere acquaintances. Though the actor was good-looking, Neena wasn't ready for it both physically and mentally, but she somehow convinced herself to go through with it. In her words:

“Many years ago, I did a serial with Dilip Dhawan. It had the first-ever lip-to-lip kissing scene on Indian TV. I couldn’t sleep all night. It wasn’t like he was a friend, we were acquaintances. He was good-looking, but that doesn’t really matter in these situations, because physically and mentally, I wasn’t ready. I was so tense, but I convinced myself to go through it.”
