Kusha Kapila recently announced her separation from her husband, Zorawar Singh Ahluwalia without revealing any probable reasons behind the same. However, since her announcement, netizens have heavily attacked her and mercilessly trolled her. Now, Zorawar took a stand for Kusha and slammed the trollers. For the unversed, Kusha and Zorawar tied the knot in 2017, after being together for four years. And within six years of marital bliss, they hit the rock button and decided to part ways. A while back, Kusha also shifted to Mumbai from Delhi.
Taking to his IG stories on June 28, 2033, Zorawar Singh Ahluwalia penned a note to defend his ex-wife, Kusha Kapila after she announced massive backlash on social media post-announcing their separation. In his note, Zorawar mentioned that the painful decision of separation was taken mutually by the ex-couple, and they still hold respect for each other. Thus, he asked the netizens to stop attacking her and said there is no need to paint her character as some villain in their relationship. An excerpt from his note can be read as:
“What has transpired over the last 24 hours, with Kusha being subject to vile attacks online makes me sad and disappointed. To attack Kusha’s character and paint her as some villain is shameful. Let’s all please do better."

On June 26, 2023, Kusha Kapila took to her Instagram handle and announced her divorce from her husband, Zorawar after six years of marital bliss. The same post was also shared by Zorawar on his respective IG handle. Their mutual statement revealed they wanted different things in their lives and tried their best to sort things out. However, things can't get any better in their relationship. The ex-couple also called their divorce heartbreaking and added that healing from this pain would take a lot of time, but their focus is to move on. They also added about continuing co-parenting their furbaby, Maya.
As soon as Kusha and Zorawar announced their separation, a Reddit user reposted her post on their social media handle. And within seconds, netizens started digging out Kusha's indirect indications, which she had given earlier. The netizens also pointed out some of the probable reasons behind the same. While some users mentioned that Kusha had indirectly insulted Zorawar in many of her interviews, others commented that she was rude and entitled.

A few other netizens also pointed out the probable reasons behind Kusha and Zorawar's separation. While one netizen mentioned, "The first indication was when she agreed with Karan saying physical infidelity is not infidelity." For the unversed, in an old conversation, Kusha was spotted talking about sexual infidelity in an interaction with Karan Johar, where he jokingly said that for him, 'sexual infidelity is not infidelity', and she too, agreed with him. Thus, netizens thought one of the troubles in Kusha and Zorawar's relationship was probably due to this. Another netizen wrote, "When she accepted Karan's relationship mantra - infidelity theory by him and his lot. What a person to take advice from.
