And the latest couple, whose marriage is rumoured to be hitting the rocks, is none other than Tollywood's sweethearts, Naga Chaitanya and Samantha Akkineni.
From the past couple of days, there have been speculations that all is not well in ChaySam's (as loving called by their fans) paradise and the couple is heading for a divorce. The news came as a shocker for their fans, and adding more fuel to the fire, the stunning actress, Samantha had dropped 'Akkineni' from her surname on her social media handles. She had changed her name to ‘S’.

Now, as per the reports of ETimes, Naga Chaitanya's team is giving contradictory statements when questioned about the reports of trouble in Chaitanya and Samantha's married life. When ETimes contacted Mr Suresh, a man from Chaitanya's team and asked him about the ongoing rumours, he simply stated the news is untrue. But within seconds, he changed his statement and retorted, "I don't know."
Another member, Mr Raju from Chaitanya's team, followed the same pattern by first stating the report as 'incorrect' and later changing it. But, Mr Raju shared that the matter should not be discussed with Chaitanya and said, "Discussing this with the artiste (Naga Chaitanya) will be bad. This is not a thing to discuss." On the other hand, when ETimes tried to contact Samantha, the actress dodged the topic and went unavailable for comment.

A few days back, in an interview with Film Companion, Samantha Akkineni was asked about the ongoing reports of her having some serious trouble in her marriage with her actor-husband, Naga Chaitanya. To this, Samantha had smiled and had stated that she rarely responds to these sorts of reports. Samantha had also added that everyone is entitled to their own opinions. Hence, she is also entitled to her own opinions. However, The Family Man season 2 actress had added that she never lost her mind in the face of controversies and had said that gossips are just a small part of a celebrity's life.
On October 6, 2020, Samantha and Chaitanya had completed three years of their married life. To celebrate the occasion, Samantha had shared a monochrome picture from their cousin, Rana Daggubati’s wedding on her IG handle. Posing with their arms around each other, Samantha and Chaitanya had looked beautiful together. Wishing Chay, Samantha had written, “You are my person and I am yours, that whatever door we come to, we will open it together. Happy anniversary husband @chayakkineni,” followed by a heart emoticon.

Samantha and Naga Chaitanya had fallen in love on the sets of their film, Ye Maaya Chesave.
