Shahid Kapoor’s wife, Mira Rajput Kapoor might not be from the film industry, but she has crawled her way into the hearts of millions of Sasha’s (as lovingly called by Shahid’s family and friends) fans. Today, (March 5, 2019) Mira and Shahid are celebrating their little boy, Zain Kapoor’s ‘delicious-half’ birthday. Mira, who is full of creative ideas, had one of the best ideas for her little tot’s half birthday cake. She contacted cake designer expert, Rushina Mehrotra and opted for a pizza-inspired cake. The star-wife took to her Instagram handle and shared a picture of the same, and captioned the picture as, “My baby is 6 months”. She shared another picture of the cake and thanked Rushina for making her idea work out. She wrote, "Thank you @Daffodils.creation for executing my ideas and making them edible." Earlier, in an interview, Mira had talked about being a strict mother, and had said, “Shahid and I take turns. Most of the time I’m the strict one, and most of the time he’s the one spoiling her. He’s the one sneaking in the chocolate, or giving her a little sip of his morning drink. But both of us just like to have fun with her. We want to enjoy every experience with her. Shahid as a dad is very hands-on, he wants to do as much as he can, at times I ask him to take it easy and relax. He is always so excited to spend time with Misha. She had also talked about the feelings of embracing motherhood and how it helped change her perspective towards life. Mira had stated, “It’s made me value a lot of things that I took for granted. It’s made me value my mother, made me value my parents, it’s made me value my husband so much more, and I think it’s made me a much happier persona. It’s made me a much more wholesome person.”
When Shahid was invited as a guest on the celebrity chat show, Famously Filmfare, he revealed that Mira thinks he is protective when it comes to handling children. He had said, “My wife tells me that I am a little obsessive and protective and that I need to calm down a little bit.” The Udta Punjab actor had further added, “I tell her that she is too casual. Having said that, we try and find the middle ground which I think is good for the kids because you need to have both types of parents. If both are too obsessive or both are too careless I don't think that works, so you need to find that balance.”
Shahid, once revealed that before marriage, he had met Mira 3-4 times before they finally agreed to tie the knot. He had stated, “Mira and I never dated. We just met three to four times and decided to get married. I was about to start shooting for Udta Punjab when I met first met Mira.
