And guys, it is not just us, innumerous stars in the past have expressed their fondness towards the little nawab. Remember, a few months back, Parineeti Chopra had shared in one of her Instagram stories, that both she and Taimur have been spotted wearing similar ‘Ramones’ t-shirt? Sharing an Instagram story, Parineeti wrote, “Twinning with the right guy. Couldn't help posting!” atop the picture, backed by laughing and red-heart emojis. And now, one of the most talented and budding superstars of the tinsel town, Badla actress, Taapsee Pannu is awed by this grey-eyed little man! In an interview with Bollywood Hungama, the actress was asked who, in Bollywood, she would like to take out on a date. After pausing for a brief moment, Taapsee replied, “Hmmm... Bollywood? Can I take Taimur out on a date?” Taapsee couldn’t stop giggling after the answer and was definitely trying to surpass an ‘actual’ reply. But after a lot of pestering, the actress shared, “I will tell you from the point of view of a person who is acting right now. For me, these are my contemporaries, colleagues. That feeling of eyeing someone like that, goes away when you acting with them. Because you know that you’ll meet them often.”
Isn’t it adorable? In July 2018, rumours were afloat that the Judwaa 2 actress had a secret engagement and is all set to get married soon. It was also reported that Taapsee’s parents have headed to Goa to look for a suitable match for their darling daughter. And since then, fans and media yearned for Taapsee to throw base on the same and finally she did! However, the actress took to Twitter and put an end to all rumours via a witty tweet. In a reply to an online portal who had written about her engagement and marriage rumours, Taapsee wrote, “Really! Coming back to Taimur and speaking about stars obsessing over him, mamu Ranbir Kapoor too, is ‘obsessed’ over this little prince. The Sanju star had revealed the same in an interview, “To be honest, I stalk his pictures because I am also obsessed. Because when you see him it just warms your heart. And when he has his haircut or how he walks. I am a Taimur fan.” He further added, “I have had the opportunity and the good fortune to hold him and it felt quite surreal. It felt like holding royalty.”
In an interview with Mumbai Mirror, Taimur’s gorgeous momma, Kareena Kapoor Khan, spoke about nation's obsessiveness with her son, and the fan-frenzy which has gone to another level as markets are now selling Taimur-inspired toys! She revealed, “Taimur can’t run away from his popularity and neither can his parents. When I saw the doll, I wondered what was I supposed to say. But Saif pointed out that it is because people love him so much and such things are a blessing for him. There is so much genuine warmth for our son that it’s bad to stop people from clicking his pictures or making his dolls. But, they should understand that he is a two-year-old child and needs a normal life. Both Saif and I are struggling to give him that and will continue to do so without telling the media to back off, no matter how annoying it gets after a point. It’s tough on him as it’s on Saif and me.”
A while back, Saif Ali Khan was busy promoting his film, Baazaar. In one of the promotions, he jokingly stated that he once had a discussion with his Begum jaan, Kareena Kapoor Khan about taking Taimur’s help for the promotions. Saif had stated, “Every producer I am working with is half-jokingly say, "Haha can we put him (for promotions)". With white in his hair (referring to his look from Baazaar). With Kaalakaandi, they wanted to put rubber bands. In Hunter they want to put that Naga Sadhu wig on this poor guy”.
He further stated, “My wife (Kareena Kapoor Khan) says, "Don't be so cheap. You can't sell your son (Taimur). I am like, "Why not? Let's sell him." Seriously yaar, he is any way there on the internet. I am just using this platform to say if anybody has any good nappy ads or anything... at a very reasonable price...it's not reasonable, it's quite expensive actually.
