Bollywood actress, Malaika Arora is a chilled mom, a loving partner, and a sassy lady, who lives her life queen-sized. In her career spanning over two decades, Malaika managed to carve a niche of her own and left everyone stunned by her presence on the silver screen. The actress had got married to actor, Arbaaz Khan, and it was after 17 years of marital bliss that the two had announced their separation in 2016. Currently, she is in a steady relationship with actor, Arjun Kapoor and is raising her son, Arhaan Khan as a single mom.
Arhaan Khan, who is currently pursuing higher studies abroad since August 2021, shares a friendly bond with his mommy, Malaika Arora. The 20-year-old son dotes on his mother and never shies away from showering love on her. Malaika Arora is a strict mother, who knows how to maintain a balance between being a parent and a friend. However, her son, Arhaan is her utmost priority in her life.

Malaika Arora had met with an intense car accident on the expressway at Khopoli, Maharashtra on April 2, 2022, as she was returning from Pune after attending a fashion event. However, she had suffered no major injuries and was rushed to a nearby hospital. In an interview with The Times Of India, Malaika opened up about her son, Arhaan's reaction to her accident and revealed that he was howling on the phone. Talking about the same, Malaika said:
“I had just come back after seeing Arhaan. It had just been 48 hours and the incident happened. I was on work in the US and he had a spring break. So we also spent a lot of time together. He was hugely worried and in shock after my accident. He was howling on the phone, and he was worried and just ready to hop on to the next flight. What do you expect from a kid in such a situation, especially when he’s miles away from home?"
Malaika also shared that though Arhaan was getting her health updates through his friends and family members, he had felt really anxious. The doting mommy added that as soon as she had gained consciousness, she had immediately spoken to her son, Arhaan and had assured him that she was okay. Talking about the fragile nature of life, the actress said:
"Everyone was talking to him but he didn’t want to believe anyone. His friends had called and told him things. He had no clue of the extent of damage that I had suffered. He only wanted to be sure that I was fine. Although he was told everything about my surgery and recovery, he didn’t believe anyone. He thought everyone was merely pacifying him. We were both not at peace till we hadn’t spoken. I knew he was aware of what had happened, and once I got off sedation, I spoke to him and assured him that I was okay. Life is so fragile and weird. One minute, you are bouncing and the next minute, you can come that close to death.”

Malaika has been a popular face on television reality shows over the last few years, and she has been winning our hearts with her stint on the same. Further in the interview, Malaika revealed if her son is likely to join the entertainment industry at some point and said:
“My son is studying cinema, but he’s too young. It’s too early to say what he eventually plans to follow. At his age, he needs to explore all his options, make his share of mistakes and learn from them. We’re not here to give it all to him on a platter. We are there to guide him and push him in areas where he needs it. He has a long way to go.”
Malaika Arora had gone through mental trauma after her tragic car accident, but she is recovering well.
