Putting an end to dating ‘rumours’ and converting them into ‘news’, Arjun and Malaika are the latest ‘IT’ couple of the tinsel town! From hanging out with Malaika and her girl gang, going on lunch and dinner dates, chilling with each other’s families, Arjun and Malaika are shunning the concept of ‘age gap’ as a barrier and are redefining #CoupleGoals!
Leaving everything else aside for a nanosecond, Arjun and Malaika’s social media PDA game is totally on point. The recent picture posted by the actor had him, sun-kissed and chilling on a sofa with a caption which suggested that the 33-year-old has taken a day-off from his rigorous shoots. Sharing the picture, he wrote, “Sun kissed & enjoying the day off... leave the worrying & the stress for another day soak in the moment, bask in your happiness & remind yourself the journey is fluid... Sometimes you just gotta enjoy the experience of becoming... #tuesdaythoughts #chillinlikeavillain.” Now muse, Malaika couldn’t resist from commenting on that picture and wrote a cryptic, “Hmmmm”. This is not the first time when Malaika and Arjun indulged in some social media PDA. On Halloween 2018, netizens got to see the first-ever instance of Arjun-Malaika’s social media PDA game on point! Arjun Kapoor shared a super-cool edited picture of himself created by a fan page, and captioned it as, “Happy Halloween!!! Just an excuse to post this really cool edit made by @arjunkusafc love it!!! #halloween.” While we bet that you couldn’t help but gape in amazement at the picture, Arjun’s lady-love, Malaika’s ‘fiery hot’ comment had left everyone flabbergasted! As per a Filmfare report, Arjun Kapoor and Malaika Arora Khan are all set to tie the knot in 2019. A source close to the couple had then informed Filmfare, “Malaika and Arjun are extremely fond of each other. They have never really spoken about each other but they are extremely happy in their own personal space. In a steady relationship now, Malaika and Arjun plan to take their relationship to next level and tie the knot next year.”
A Deccan Chronicle report also stated that Malaika is not reluctant anymore to be seen in the public radar with Arjun. A source had stated, “Malaika is no longer keen to hide her proximity to Arjun. When she was with Arbaaz, the Khan family, especially Salman, made their disapproval very clear. But now that she has broken away from Arbaaz, she sees no reason to be coy about her closeness to Arjun. Besides, Arbaaz is also seeing someone else now."
Reports also had it that Arjun and Malaika have purchased a plush apartment in Mumbai’s Lokhandwala. A source close to the couple was quoted as saying, “Arjun and Malaika have together purchased a flat in a plush society near Lokhandwala Complex. It is their joint investment together. Whether they plan to live in or no is entirely up to them. But they are surely getting a space for themselves. On account of Arjun’s 33rd birthday last year (June 26, 2018), the Ishaqzaade star spoke about his marriage plans. He had stated, “Abhi chhokra jawaan hua hai (laughs). Right now, I am not in the frame of mind to even consider marriage. I am very happy seeing my near-and-dear ones after marriage. I think it will still take me two-three years [to think of marriage]. You need to be in the right frame of mind. Just because others are doing it, you can’t do the same. Both my cousins were clear that they wanted to settle down. They worked on their relationships long enough to feel that. So, it made complete sense to them [to get hitched]."
