On June 26, 2019, Arjun Kapoor had celebrated his 34th birthday and just a day before that, he along with his ladylove, Malaika Arora had left for their mini vacation in New York. Dressed in a red hot Fendi tracksuit, Malaika made heads turn with her airport look, while her beau, Arjun had looked dapper in an eagle printed black t-shirt and denim. Arjun had teamed it up with a grey cap, gold-tinted sunglasses and shiny black shoes. On the other hand, Malaika had accentuated her airport look with vintage sunglasses, white sneakers and a black tote bag.
Arjun Kapoor finally marked his debut on his ladylove, Malaika Arora’s social media profile on his 34th birthday. Malaika had taken to her Instagram to give us a glimpse of their ‘us’ time from one of their vacations and wish her ‘crazy and insanely funny’ partner, Arjun. Dressed in a blue and white striped co-ord set, Malaika had captioned her post with Arjun as, "Happy bday my crazy, insanely funny n amazing @arjunkapoor ... love n happiness always".
Since, Arjun Kapoor’s chachu, Sanjay Kapoor and his family, Maheep Kapoor, Shanaya Kapoor and Jahaan Kapoor have been vacationing in New York for quite some time now, the lovebirds had joined their extended family at the far-off land. In one of the pictures shared by Maheep Kapoor, Malaika Arora and Arjun Kapoor can be seen posing with Jahaan Kapoor which showed that they are coy no more. She captioned her post as, “Jai Hind”. Something that we couldn’t help but notice is the way the trio had colour-coordinated their appearances. While Arjun can be seen in orange, Jahaan opted for white and Malaika is in a neon green outfit. The relationship of Arjun Kapoor, 33, and Malaika Arora, 45, came under the media radar when they made an appearance together at the Lakme Fashion Week 2018. In an interaction with the Bombay Times sometime back, Arjun Kapoor was asked to comment on the trolls targeting him and Malaika for the huge age gap between them. To which, he had replied, “I wouldn’t even want to speak about this and give it importance. It doesn’t matter to me, so I don’t want to justify anything.”
Speaking of not accepting his relationship with Malaika Arora and nor hiding it, Arjun Kapoor had shared, “I respect the fact that the media has been so respectful about our relationship. We are not hiding anything either. I am in a good personal and professional space. I hope it continues this way. I don’t want to go into the details right now. There has to be dignity in the way you conduct yourself in a relationship, and I want to maintain that. I would like to talk about it as time unfolds rather than jumping the gun. We have opened the doors to the world to know that we are together. When the time is right, I will go into details and speak about it.”
Reacting on the speculations about his marriage emerging in media every now and then, Arjun Kapoor had stated, “It’s people’s job to speculate and mine to clarify. Log shaadi ke baad takle hotey hain. Main shaadi ke dauran takla nahi hona chahta. (He’s shooting for a film, for which, he has shaved his head). I am not interested in getting married right now. I am 33 and marriage is not the be all and end all of a relationship.
