Now, we have learnt that the duo have reportedly rented a luxurious love nest in Mumbai to move in together. With this, the days of staying away from each other will be soon over for Indian skipper, KL Rahul and Bollywood actress, Athiya as they are all set to move in into a live-in relationship.
Talking about their wedding rumours, after Farhan Akhtar-Shibani Dandekar and Ranbir Kapoor-Alia Bhatt's dreamy marriage ceremonies, we are excited to witness yet another gala wedding of Bollywood. Reportedly Athiya and Rahul will tie the knot in 2022 in a South Indian wedding as both Athiya's father, Suniel Shetty and her beau, KL Rahul hail from Mangalore. Though there is no official confirmation on the news, rumours mills have been churning out essential details of the wedding.

A few hours ago, Pinkvilla reported that KL Rahul and Athiya Shetty rented a swanky sea-facing apartment in Mumbai. Allegedly their penthouse would be on the 8th floor at a Carter Road apartment in Bandra. If reports are to be believed, the duo will have to pay a whopping amount of Rs. 10 lakh every month for the rented flat.
The most loved couple in the film industry, Athiya Shetty and KL Rahul had always tried to keep their relationship away from the media glare. However, their mushy posts for each other once a year on their birthdays give us glimpses of their vacations and romantic dates. For instance, on April 18, 2022, the doting girlfriend had posted three unseen pictures on her IG handle to wish Rahul his 30th birthday. Her cute birthday wish could be read as:
"Anywhere with you, happy birthday."

Athiya Shetty is her father, Suniel Shetty's princess and the father-daughter duo shares a warm bond. Back in 2021, the affectionate father had reacted to his daughter's link-up rumours with cricketer, KL Rahul. In an interview with the Bombay Times, when Suniel was asked to share his views on the look of Athiya and Rahul's eyewear ad, he had given a very father-like reaction and had called them a 'good looking' couple. Suniel could be quoted as saying:
"I think they look brilliant together. They are a good-looking couple, na? So, it totally works from a brand perspective. And I must say, they look good together, well, in the ad."
