According to a report in ETimes, a source reported that the newly-wedded couple, Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt, offered a sum of Rs. 30,000 to the kinnars, as per the traditions. However, the kinnars, who entered the couple's residence, had completely different expectations, as they rejected the couple's big sum of money. The source further revealed that the kinnars demanded three times more money from Ranbir and Alia, and a security guard reportedly gave the hefty sum of Rs. 90,000 in a packet to the kinnars. The source can be quoted as:

"The Kinnars were offered big sum of cash but they demanded three times more, so Ranbir's security person took back the packet of money. They are going to bring back a revised offering for blessings. The sum involved in cited to be Rs 30,000 and the revised one may be around Rs 90,000."

Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt's wedding was nothing less than a spectacle, and picture and videos from their D-day have already set the internet on fire. The pictures had won everyone's hearts, as they had featured Ranbir for the first time with his father-in-law, Mahesh Bhatt. The doting daughter, Pooja Bhatt had penned a short note in the caption with these memorable pictures of Ranbir hugging his sasur, Mahesh Bhatt. Her heart-melting note in the caption could be read as:
