Bollywood actor, Ranbir Kapoor’s mother, Neetu Kapoor, has created a stir on social media after sharing a cryptic post about marriage on her Instagram handle. Apparently, the post was targeted at Katrina Kaif, who dated Ranbir for a few years. The veteran actress received a lot of criticism for allegedly digging out the past and targeting Katrina for her love life. However, her post did not go down well with the netizens, and even Katrina's mom gave a savage reply to the same.
Amid all this chaos, an old video of Katrina Kaif has surfaced online, wherein she was seen showering love on Neetu Kapoor. The video is from Katrina's old interview with senior journalist, Karan Thapar, at the India Today Conclave. During the interview, the journalist asked Katrina some personal questions, which was quite shocking for her, but she maintained her calm and composure. The video is now going viral on Reddit, and netizens are praising Katrina for her mature responses.

In the viral video, when Karan asked Katrina Kaif if the rumours about her then-boyfriend, Ranbir Kapoor's mother, Neetu Kapoor disliking her were true, the actress gave a beautiful response. She said that she has always kept her personal life under wraps, which led to multiple speculations and rumours about her love life. Adding that she is ready to take the blame for all the rumours about her, the actress said:
“I’m stumped. The reason and the person responsible for these rumours that you are saying quite honestly would be me. I’ll take the full blame for that, and you may ask why. The reason is since the last eight or nine years, I have chosen not to comment on my personal life whoever it may be or whatever it is about- the people or the man in my life. Because I feel it’s the easier way for me to be. There’s no hard and fast reason why. I’m a sensitive person. I have a hard enough time accepting the truths and realities that hit us all in matters of love. Because I have kept everything so closely guarded as much as possible, you are leaving that much more room for everyone to make speculations like this."
Katrina further heaped praises on Ranbir Kapoor’s parents, Neetu Kapoor and late Rishi Kapoor, and calls them fascinating people. Talking about Neetu, Katrina said that she admires the veteran actress as she is a stunning lady and revealed that Rishi Kapoor used to take her out for dinners when they were shooting for Namaste London. She was heard saying:
“If you particularly ask me about my relationship with Ranbir’s mother as a woman and as an actress who I have interacted with, she is a beautiful, stunning lady and somebody who I have great admiration for. I think she is a fantastic person. In fact, everyone I have met from his family has been such lovely fascinating people. Not only Neetuji, but also his father Rishiji, who I worked with in Namastey London. We hit it off so well in the film. He was such a darling person. He would take me out for dinners in the evening."

However, later the journalist asked Katrina Kaif about her reaction after being cropped out of a Kapoor family photo, which was doing rounds on the internet back then. Mentioning how Neetu Kapoor airbrushed Katrina out of the photo, Karan asked the actress if that hurt her. However, being her witty self, Kat gave a savage response and said:
“I’m not on Instagram or Twitter, so I can’t say I really know what you are talking about in that case."
Now that the video is widely being circulated on the internet, netizens are lauding Katrina Kaif for her mature take on such difficult questions about her personal life. They hailed the actress for being a sensible person and not throwing dirt on Neetu's name. Indeed, Katrina's response to the queries reflected her intelligent personality.
