When Priyanka began her acting career, there were reports of her cold wars with her contemporaries. And one of them was Kareena Kapoor, who was then considered as one of her tough competitors in the industry. Priyanka and Kareena have worked together in a few films and were often pitied against each other.

A recent thread on Reddit features Kareena heaping praises of Priyanka Chopra on the chat show, Koffee With Karan. In the video, Kareena was seen praising Priyanka and how she makes Indians proud by the way she conducts herself on global platforms. She also called Priyanka extremely talented.
As soon as the video went viral, netizens poured in their comments and complemented Kareena for genuinely praising Priyanka. One of the users wrote, “Kareena is one of those people whose expressions tell exactly what they’re thinking. so you know this one was genuinely dil se.” Another commented, “Ekdam Dil se compliment Diya hai Bebo ne. She put it very, very beautifully.”

Priyanka and Kareena shared cold shoulders in the initial phase of their careers. When the actresses shared screen space in the movie, Aitraaz, Kareena's role was overshadowed by the negative character played by Priyanka Chopra. During one of the episodes of Koffee With Karan, Kareena made a nasty remark about Priyanka and asked the host, "I wonder where Priyanka got her accent from?" When Priyanka was called on the show, she gave a befitting reply and said:
"I got it from the same place her boyfriend (Kareena was then dating Saif Ali Khan) got it from."
Talking about Priyanka Chopra’s career in Hollywood, the actress was cast in the American thriller, Quantico as 'Alex Parrish' in 2015. In 2017, Priyanka made her Hollywood film debut by playing the antagonist 'Victoria Leeds' in Baywatch. In 2018, she was seen in the American drama, A Kid Like Jake. Priyanka was also seen in a few other Hollywood projects too. Priyanka also tried her hand at singing and debuted in the US with her first single, In My City. However, she stated that her music career was not living up to her standards.
