On September 14, 2023, Afghan international cricketer, Rashid Khan took to his IG handle and shared a picture of him with Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt. The picture showed the trio posing for the camera as they enjoyed quality time in NYC. Alia was seen dressed in a black t-shirt and matching pants, whereas Ranbir opted for a tracksuit styled with a cap. Sharing the picture, the cricketer wrote:

Soon after, a social media user shared the picture on Reddit, which invited a section of trolls to criticise the couple. However, this time, the netizens pointed out that Ranbir Kapoor looks older than his age and even compared him with Shahid Kapoor. However, the actor admitted that he had even tried getting rid of the habit by getting medical treatment in Austria.
