On October 16, 2022, taking to her IG handle, Kajol gave a sneak peek into her evening snack time. In the picture, we can see her relishing a mouth-watering burger, which was loaded with lettuce, cream and other ingredients. Along with it, the actress penned a note and revealed that her son, Yug prepared the delicious burger. Her note can be read as:

On September 13, 2022, their loving son, Yug, turned a year older, and he got the sweetest wish from his mommy, Kajol. The actress took to her IG handle and shared a super cute picture of herself with the birthday boy. In the priceless picture, the mother-son duo could be seen hugging each other tightly, flashing their brightest smiles for the lens. Kajol and Yug were enjoying a boat ride at some surreal destination in the picture. Alongside it, the doting mommy penned a hilarious caption and revealed the importance of clicking the pictures of all the happy times. Her note could be read as:

In an interview with the Hindustan Times, Kajol had talked about her kids, Nysa Devgan and Yug Devgan's impact on her life and shared that they have positively impacted the person and the actor in her. Revealing that her children love to watch films but haven't watched too many of her films, Kajol had said:
"My children make me want to be a better person and sometimes a more fun one. Being a mum added a lot to who I was and it has only made me a better actor. Both my kids love to watch films but haven't seen many of mine. Firstly, because I haven't made that many and secondly, according to them, I cry too much and I make them cry too much, so it's heavy going."
