Shah Rukh Khan’s on-screen jodi with Kajol has been one of the most-loved pairs in the Hindi film industry. The duo have been frequently teamed opposite each other in multiple films, and undoubtedly each one of them has been no less than a blockbuster hit. In fact, in their real-life as well, SRK and Kajol share a bond like no other, and they mean more than family to one another. And recently, Kajol recalled a moment when SRK proved his true friendship by helping her out during a particular moment of shooting their film, Karan Arjun.
In a recent interview with Mashable India, Kajol recalled some special anecdotes during the shooting of her song, Jaati Hoon Main in the film, Karan Arjun along with Shah Rukh Khan. She mentioned how during the most part of the shooting schedule, she felt bored like a horse about the entire song sequence. Moreover, she also had to control her laughter, since it was a sensuous song. Nevertheless, Kajol shared how it was SRK who constantly boosted her courage to finish off the song seamlessly. In her words:
“Shah Rukh was giving me courage to just finish the song. Dancing was the easy part, not laughing out loud at it (the song) was the difficult part. There are places in this (song) where I look like a horse. And he is like, ‘Shut up, just do it, get over with it.’ He has always been like that, making me laugh all the time.”

In one of her previous interviews with The Hindu, Kajol had opened up about frequently sharing the screen space with Shah Rukh Khan. She revealed that in her long career, it has only been SRK whom she considers as the most understanding male co-star, when it comes to making his female co-actors seem comfortable and adjusted in the work setup.
In her personal life, Kajol is happily married to the love of her life, Ajay Devgn. The duo share an amazing bond and are never insecure about each other’s successes. In one of her previous interview with YouTuber, Ranveer Allahabadia, Kajol had discussed comparisons between her husband, Ajay Devgn and her best buddy, Shah Rukh Khan. She mentioned that the latter’s fame is unparalleled, as he has been consistent with it. Moreover, she highlighted that she had witnessed the overall progression and development of SRK as an actor very closely.

In an earlier interview with Bollywood Bubble, Kajol spoke about the person according to her who could easily become a lawyer. She explained that SRK is an absolute smooth talker, and even if she would get caught in any problem, she was sanguine that Shah Rukh would be the one to free her from it. In her words:
“Hands down I will choose Shah Rukh. He is the smoothest talker ever...And he will be standing over there and be like ‘lines ki jaroorat nahi hai, mein bol sakta hu’ (laughs). He will stand there and he will talk me out of anything that I’ve gotten myself into. So, definitely hands-down Shah Rukh."
