Kajol is hailed as one of the evergreen actresses of the 90s. She has enthralled her fans over decades with her plethora of amazing films. She is known for her dusky beauty and impeccable acting stint, which people love even today. Apart from being a talented actress, she is also a doting wife to her husband, Ajay Devgn and a hands-on mommy for her children, Nysa and Yug. Kajol is currently busy promoting her upcoming series, The Trial-Pyaar, Kaanoon, Dhokha and during one such interaction, she revealed a few fond anecdotes about her personal life.
In a recent interview with Mid-Day, Kajol opened up on the kind of support that she has received from her mother-in-law, Veena Devgn. The actress revealed how the latter was one of the first people who had encouraged her to resume her film work after she gave birth to her first child, Nysa Devgn. Kajol added that it was only because of her mother-in-law’s unconditional support that she could show excellence in her field of work. Moreover, she also heaped tons of praise for her husband, Ajay who is more than happy to adjust his schedules for taking care of their kids. In her words:
“I have the most amazing family, who supports me beautifully. In fact, my mother-in-law was one of the first people to tell me that I should start working after Nysa was born. They said, don't worry about her and we are there for you. My husband adjusts his schedule according to me. So, if I have an outdoor shoot, he makes sure that he doesn't have one and vice versa, you know we do that for each other.”

Going further in the interview, Kajol expressed how she manages her hectic work schedule, so that she is able to leave ample time to spend with her children. She also recalled how like her mom, Tanuja, she too believes in spending quality time with her kids, and not just only focus on how much duration that time is. She mentioned:
“As far as working and spending time away from your kids is concerned, my mom always stressed that quality is always more important than quantity. Even if you spend 10 minutes a day, spending that time with your kids without any distractions, without a phone in your hand or without the TV on, just looking at them and saying, hey, what's up? Talk to me. I think that's the best thing as a parent that I can do.”
Kajol has always been quite vocal in sharing her views about her personal life, and has never been shy. From her love story with Ajay Devgn to various anecdotes about her shoots, Kajol has nearly spoken about it all. For instance, in one of her interviews with the Humans Of Bombay, Kajol had revealed how a successful marriage for her involves a lot of work. She also emphasised how a married couple must be open to learning newer things and accept each other to be able to live happily.
