Ishaan Khatter became the dhadak of the entire nation when he made his debut with Majid Majidi's 2017 film, Beyond The Clouds. He later entered Bollywood with Karan Johar’s much-awaited production, Dhadak opposite Janhvi Kapoor. Since their first film together, Ishaan is rumoured to be dating Janhvi. Ishaan is a superb dancer just like his brother, Shahid and has always said that he looks up to him in terms of acting. From their bike trip to family get-togethers, we just love the bond shared by the two.
Ishaan made his debut on Neha Dhupia’s chat show, No Filter Neha and spoke about the one thing he keeps in mind while visiting Shahid’s house. Neha accused Ishaan of not behaving well and leaving his shoes anywhere at his brother, Shahid’s house. Ishaan did not agree with Neha and said that he always makes sure to place his shoes at the right place set by Mira. He also stated, “She just has a thing against shoes. It’s not the middle of the room, it’s the corner but it’s not the corner she would prefer.”
Ishaan further revealed the one tactic that he learnt to enter Shahid’s house. Talking about the same, he retorted, “I have learnt the protocol to engage with my niece and nephew. First, you remove your shoes where they should be and then you go into the house real quite like, usually you got to do a handstand. Ishaan Khatter shares an amazing bond with his brother, Shahid Kapoor and has always praised him for supporting him in every decision. Speculations about Ishaan dating Janhvi Kapoor have been doing the rounds for quite a while and it was Ishaan’s brother, Shahid who had given the best advice to them. Shahid had appeared on Neha Dhupia’s chat show, No Filter Neha season 4 and was asked for any advice that he would give to Ishaan and Janhvi. To this, the Padmaavat actor had stated, “Balance work and personal space.”
In an interactive session with India Film Project, Ishaan had revealed the best advice that he had received from his brother, Shahid and had stated, "My brother (Shahid Kapoor) once told me that the moment between action and cut is yours, everything else is secondary. He said find that honest moment and, while everything else could help, finding your honest moment will let you live it in front of the camera."
Sometime back, Ishaan took to his Instagram handle and had posted a heartfelt open letter for his elder brother Shahid Kapoor, on the success of the latter's film, Kabir Singh. He had written, “As happy as can be for my big brother today who’s always been a shining example of a human being for me. Not a doubt in the world that you deserve the smashing success but it continues to baffle me how you were able to play one of the most complex, lost and damaged characters with such perfection while returning home to being the most centered, loving and responsible family man I know.
