After Isha Ambani and Anand Piramal, the wedding bells are ringing in the Ambanis household again as Isha’s twin brother and the heir to the Reliance Group, Akash Ambani is all set to tie the knot with his childhood friend turned fiancée, Shloka Mehta. The Ambanis and Mehta flew to Switzerland to host a pre-wedding bash for Akash and Shloka with their friends and family. Akash and Shloka had a ‘Winter Wonderland’ pre-wedding bash with Coldplay and The Chainsmokers performing for the soon-to-be-married lovebirds. The Ambanis and Mehtas flew back from Switzerland to Mumbai and here, they had set-up yet another exciting pre-wedding bash that they threw for everyone. A Harry Potter-themed party was organised for Shloka Mehta and Akash Ambani, and the place was lit up like the Great Hall at Hogwarts! The house was beautifully decorated and to add more charm, Guru Randhawa performed at the bash. Here are the videos:

In an interaction with Vogue, the newly-married Isha Ambani Piramal revealed that her twin brother, Akash Ambani willingly gave up his wedding dates for his darling sister. Isha had said, "Akash has the largest heart ever. He changed his wedding dates for me. He got engaged to Shloka before Anand and me, but he was like, “I’ll get married afterwards, you take my wedding dates.” He’s like one of the most—I don’t think there’s a word for it in English—“dayalu” humans in this world. Talking about her soon-to-be sister-in-law, Shloka, Isha had stated, “In fact, Shloka’s sister, Diya [Mehta Jatia] and I were in the same class in Sunflower and then in JB [Petit]. We have been best friends for over 25 years. Then when I moved to Ambani, I skipped a grade and went to Shloka’s class. So I’ve been like a third sister to them. I was thrilled with the engagement news. Shloka’s always been part of the family for us.”
At Akash Ambani and Shloka Mehta’s engagement bash in 2018, his twin sister, Isha Ambani welcoming her bhai and bhabhi, won everyone’s heart. A video that went viral had Isha performing the welcome rituals with a ceremonial Gujarati song playing in the background. The bond between Akash and Isha can be seen as they tease each other and the later playfully sprayed holy water on her brother; Isha and Shloka’s bond was seen when the latter paid respects to her soon-to-be sister-in-law. Nita Ambani guided her daughter Isha, as she performed the welcoming ritual for her bhai and bhabhi.
