Finally, on October 24, 2019, our wait got over when Nita Ambani and Mukesh Ambani had hosted an extravagant pre-Diwali party at the Jio World Centre in Mumbai. This year being the first one post-marriage for twin siblings, Isha Ambani Piramal and Akash Ambani with their spouses, Anand Piramal and Shloka Mehta respectively, the lovebirds were a treat to eyes as they had posed for the cameras stationed outside the Jio Gardens, BKC. While Isha’s shy husband, Anand didn’t pose for the paparazzi, she was all smiles for the camera.
If you are looking for inspiration on how to ace the Diwali look, then Isha Ambani Piramal is a perfect exemplar. Isha had opted for a lightweight mint-green Sabyasachi silk saree which had floral motifs woven with pure zari. She had accentuated her look with a maroon velvet blouse with zardozi work, which worked flawlessly as a contrast to her saree. Isha accessorised her outfit with a statement neckpiece, complementary jhumkas and a pair of kadas by Sabyasachi jewellery. To round off her look, Isha had worn a small red bindi. Isha had posed with her mother-in-law, Swati Piramal and their pictures reflected the mother-daughter bond that this saas-bahu duo shares.
It is not the first time when we had seen Isha Ambani Piramal bonding with her mother-in-law, Swati Piramal. In a first public appearance post-wedding, Isha along with hubby, Anand Piramal and mother-in-law, Swati was snapped at the annual function of Dhirubhai Ambani International School. Coming back to Ambanis Diwali bash, Shloka Mehta had donned a pink lehenga with floral motifs and gold embellished blouse and the newbie Ambani bahu was nothing but an epitome of elegance, posing with her hubby, Akash Ambani. Shloka had accentuated her look with a beautiful statement floral choker and matching shoulder dusters. Complementing her was her darling husband, Akash, who had looked dapper in a royal purple kurta with a matching Nehru jacket and cream pyjama.
Nita Ambani had looked as graceful and flawless as ever in a pink lehenga with a long matching choli and a dupatta. Nita ji had complemented her outfit with a diamond and emerald neckpiece. She had colour-coordinated with her mother, Purnima Dalal, who was elegance personified in a pink-coloured saree. Mukesh Ambani had donned an off-white kurta and had paired it with an orange jacket.

This iconic Gulita building was auctioned in 2012 and as per an Economic Times report, Piramals had won the bid at INR 450 crore beating businessmen Anil Ambani and Gautam Adani, who had placed bids between INR 350 and INR 400 crore. Isha and Anand’s marital home, which is a gift from the Piramals is a five-storey bungalow at Worli Sea Face, Mumbai.
