When Govinda was seen exiting the hospital, the paps waiting outside asked him about his health. Govinda, who looked dull, gave a short reply, assuring them that he was doing fine. The actor could be heard saying, "Theek hoon". He was also seen waving towards the paps. It is not clear whether the Naseeb actor went to the hospital for a routine check-up or for another reason.
Speaking of Govinda's wife, Sunita Ahuja, she was recently seen at the Bandra Family Court in Mumbai. She had gone to withdraw her divorce petition. She claimed she had learned that Govinda and his rumoured love interest, Komal Rani Swarnkar, were planning to marry. In the now-viral audio recording, Govinda's wife can be heard saying, "Maine kal divorce case wapas le liya kyunki woh shaadi karne ke plan me the woh log." Lately, Govinda's long-time manager Shashi Sinha refuted claims made by Sunita and shared:
"I am hearing this from you. Aisa kuch nahi hai aur nahi hoga. Koi doosri shaadi nahi ho rahi. She is his wife, and there must be something going on in her mind that she made those claims. They are both mature people, and while Govinda has never spoken a word against Sunita in public, she has been the one washing dirty linen out. I am sure they both want the best for themselves and their children."
Shashi Sinha further stated that Govinda does not know why Sunita Ahuja decided to withdraw the divorce case. He hoped that things would iron out between the couple, as it would also be for the betterment of the kids, who are really affected by all this negativity.
Govinda's wife, Sunita Ahuja, filed for divorce in 2024. Recently, the actor was seen with Komal Rani Swarnkar at Mumbai airport. Netizens speculated that the two were in a relationship, and Govinda told Sunita to keep within her limits. He also addressed Sunita's issue about him working with younger actresses and stated:
"Umar ka yeh jo silsila aapne chalaaya hai, to main aapki jaankari ke liye punah yaad dila doon ki desh ke sabhi bade kalakaron ne un sabhi ladkiyon ke saath kaam kiya jo youngsters rahi hain. Aap yeh nahin chah rahi hain ki main yuva kaise dikh sakta hoon."
Govinda's manager has strictly maintained that there is no question of the actor having a second marriage. The actor left no stone unturned, also stating that Sunita was involved in his professional commitments. In his words:
"Kisi gareeb parivaar se jab log film line mein aate hain, unhein is kadar lajjit ya badnaam mat kijiye ki woh bhaag jaayen, woh darr jaayen."
