Indian billionaire Gautam Adani needs no introduction. Founder and chairman of Ahmedabad-based multinational company Adani Group, Gautam Adani is one of the richest business tycoons in Asia. With an estimated net worth of 108 billion US dollars, Gautam Adani reportedly surpassed businessman, Mukesh Ambani in terms of wealth.
Talking about Gautam Adani’s family, Gautam is married to Preeti Adani, who is a dentist and heads the Adani Foundation as a managing trustee. Gautam and Preeti are proud parents to two sons, Karan and Jeet. Their elder son, Karan Adani is married to Paridhi Shroff, and the two have a daughter named, Anuradha Karan Adani. Gautam’s younger son, Jeet Adani is the Vice President, Finance at the Adani Group.

While we have read a lot about Gautam Adani and his sons, Karan and Jeet, very little is known about his career-driven, daughter-in-law, Paridhi Adani. Let us dig deep into some unknown facts about her.
Paridhi Shroff is the daughter of Mumbai-based legal eagle, Cyril Shroff and his lawyer wife, Vandana Shroff. Cyril is the managing partner of India’s largest law firm, Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas. Born in Mumbai, Maharashtra, Paridhi has a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Finance from the University of Mumbai. She also has a Bachelor’s degree in Law and did some courses from Institut Villa Pierrefew, Switzerland and INSEAD, Fontainbleau, France.
Born into a family of lawyers, it is quite natural for Paridhi to choose a career in law. Paridhi, registered with the Bar Council of Maharashtra and Goa, did a few internships with some leading corporate law firms. In 2013, she joined as an associate in her family firm Amarchand and Mangaldas and Suresh A Shroff and Co.

When the company was split into two - Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas and Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas after her grandmother’s demise, Paridhi joined the Ahmedabad branch of her father’s company, Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas. After working there as a senior associate, Paridhi was promoted to the position of Principal associate.
It was in 2019, when Paridhi became a partner at Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas, heading the Ahmedabad branch. She is currently a part of the firm’s General Corporate Practice group. Apart from her expertise in compliance, tech regulations, mergers, and acquisitions, Paridhi also advises clients in relation to the workforce.
Apart from corporate work, Paridhi also strongly stands for diversity and equality in the workplace. An advocate of mental wellness and sustainability, Paridhi had openly discussed the sexist mentality in the workforce. In an interview with a leading media portal, Paridhi shared that belonging to an affluent family does not mean one is protected from sexism at work. Talking about the partialities she faced as a woman in the corporate world, Paridhi had stated:
“I married into a progressive family. I completed my studies and made my career after I got married. My family gave me immense support in the face of resistance from others. In fact, my husband, often gets criticised for having a ‘rebellious’ wife. He gets pulled up for supporting me.”
Paridhi Adani owns three properties worth Rs. 111 crores approximately and jointly purchased them with her father, Cyril Shroff. As per the Economic Times, Paridhi purchased a flat in Worli, Mumbai, for around 4.5 million US dollars in 2020.

Paridhi Shroff tied the knot with the elder son of the Adani clan, Karan Adani in 2013 in Goa. After the wedding, a grand reception was held in Ahmedabad, which was attended by the who’s who of the glamour, business and political world. Some of the eminent guests included Mukesh Ambani, Anil Ambani, Anand Mahindra, Anil Agarwal, BJP leader, LK Advani, PM Narendra Modi and others. A total of 22,000 people were invited to the grand reception.
In 2016, Karan and Paridhi became proud parents and welcomed a baby girl into their life. The adorable couple named their daughter, Anuradha Karan Adani.
Gautam Adani’s personal wealth plummeted by around 40 billion dollars in January 2023. The fall in Adani’s wealth pushed him out of the top 10 world’s richest people, which means the business tycoon lost the title of Asia’s richest man. As Gautam Adani’s empire fought serious fraud allegations, the shares of his company fell further making him drop down to the 15th position on the list of the world’s richest people.
Despite being the daughter-in-law of an affluent family, Paridhi made a name for herself without being overshadowed by her in-laws. Her husband, Karan Adani’s support made her determined towards her goal in life.
