There have been speculations about the two taking their relationship to the next level and planning to tie the knot soon. According to a report of Mumbai Mirror, Farhan and Shibani are all set to tie the knot in 2020. A source from Mumbai Mirror revealed, “The plan is to get married towards the year-end, after the release of Farhan’s next, Toofan. But they might spring a surprise by tying the knot earlier than that. The final date is yet to be decided but Farhan and Shibani have begun preparations for the big day.”
On January 9, 2020, Farhan Akhtar had turned a year older and his girlfriend, Shibani Dandekar had wished him in the most romantic manner. Shibani had taken to her social media handle and had posted an unseen picture of herself with the actor. Along with the picture, she had written an emotional message which could be read as “Happy birthday my better half... thank you for all the magic, laughter and love you have brought to my life... you are one of the most beautiful souls I have ever met and the world really needs more like you! Farhan and Shibani’s dating rumours had begun when Shibani had posted a picture of herself on her Instagram where she was seen walking hand-in-hand with a mystery man. The face of her man was not visible since he did not face the camera and only his back could be seen. Speculations began and it was only on September 1, 2018, when Farhan had shared the same picture on his Instagram account which proved that the two are in a relationship and are pretty serious about each other.
