Mere Agne Mein fame actress, Ekta Kaul is all set to enter the doubles’ club. The lucky guy is none other than the Permanent Roommates and Veere Di Wedding actor, Sumeet Vyas. The lovebirds are going to take the plunge on September 15, 2018. Ekta and Sumeet will have a proper Kashmiri wedding that will take place in Jammu.
The groom-to-be himself revealed the wedding details. In a chat with the Indian Express about his wedding, Sumeet Vyas shared, "Yes, we are getting married. It is going to happen in Jammu on September 15. As I am busy with my shoots, Ekta is managing most of the work. It is going to be a simple wedding. We are really happy and excited about it". Just like any other excited bride, Ekta too is on cloud nine and feeling every bit of her last damsel days to the core. So, with just a few days left for her big day, Ekta recently went for wedding lehenga shopping and how. The actress herself took to her Instagram profile and shared glimpses of the same through stories, where we can see her twirling in an orange and cream lehenga by Gazal Gupta Couture. Though we don’t know on which function Ekta will be wearing this outfit of hers, but we truly are waiting excitedly. In fact, of late, Ekta posted a few pictures on her Instagram profile and captioned it as, “Dear best friend. Sharing the details of their wedding, a source close to the couple had earlier revealed to Mumbai Mirror, “Ekta’s family, many of whom are based in Jammu, are preparing for a traditional Kashmiri ceremony. The final details of the wedding are being currently locked. Earlier, in another interview with Mid-Day, Sumeet had opened up about his relationship and lady-love, Ekta and had said, “We actually met six years ago when we were shooting for a pilot of a television show which never took off. I met her again on a show I was hosting, where she was a contestant. We kept in touch. I called her for a play a few months later; I just wanted to impress her”.
In another interview with Mumbai Mirror, Sumeet had revealed, “We first met years ago while shooting for a promo of a show which never took off. Then, both of us got busy with our respective lives. In the same interview, he also went on to talk about his lady-love, Ekta. Sumeet said, “She wanted to be sure about it too, but we have realised now that we have a certain amount of understanding and really like each other. Sumeet and Ekta like any other couple wanted to be sure of each other before making their relationship public. So, when Sumeet was asked about his marriage plans earlier, he remarked, “It is too soon to talk about marriage. It’s not a conversation that we are having right now as we are both busy with work. We are in a good place where two people realise how compatible they are.”
Well, now that there are only 15 days to go for Ekta and Sumeet’s marriage, we wish them all the luck and happiness for their future together!
