This is what exactly happened with one of the most talented actors of television who has entered Bollywood, Shoaib Ibrahim. Today, January 11, 2019, is the day when Shoaib’s first film, Batallion 609 has released. Yesterday, on January 10, there was a special screening of the movie for which Dipika along with their close pals and cousins went. All were dressed in the customised Battalion 609 t-shirts. Dipika shared a group picture on her Instagram account and captioned it as, “It was a Bigggggg Day For All of us!!! And here were all my people!!! standing with us as always!!! be it happy times or hardship you all are always there!!! this is what real bonds and real friendship is all about!!! @akramgunner @yesharughani you both were missed a lotttttt!!!"
After that, she posted another snap with her husband Shoaib wherein she was seen smiling whilst looking at him. The lovely picture had even lovelier a caption that the proud wife put along. Dipika penned, “@shoaib2087 Sky is the limit for you!!! Im so so soooo Proud of you!!! I Love You!!! P.S. : do you see the smile on my face... its only because im looking at you @shoaib2087”.
A few days back, Dipika shared a picture of the hoarding having the movie’s poster on it. Along with it, she wrote, “When you've waited for something for years and it is finally happening its difficult to believe!!! Just like any other person, a debut movie is the first towards the ladder of success. Shoaib got emotional when the poster of his movie was released and shared the same on his official social media handle. He captioned the snap as, “I have waited and how to be introduce myself as Kamraj Mishra! And its finally happening, Can’t wait... these 5 days are gonna be the longest. #battalion609 #kamrajmishra #jaihind”.
Shoaib and Dipika are one madly in love with each other kind of a couple. No matter what, they both have always stood by each other’s side through thick and thin. Dipika lately won famous controversial reality show, Bigg Boss season 12, Shoaib took to Instagram and shared a lovely picture with Dipika and sister Saba, proudly holding the trophy together. He captioned the snap as, “Not just once or twice, but many times u have proved yourself. Proud husband A big thank you to everyone who have supported us throughout this journey. #grattitude #blessed”. For the unaware ones, Shoaib and Dipika met at the sets of Sasural Simar Ka and eventually fell in love. The lovebirds took their own sweet time to open about their relationship. Dipika once stated, "I wanted to be sure that this relationship wasn't on the rebound. Also, we were getting to know each other better. No matter how progressive we become, being a divorcee has some kind of a social stigma attached to it in our society. I had that stamp on me. But he gave me that space and despite being aware of my past, never complained about it."
Shoaib and Dipika tied the knot on February 22, 2018, in a traditional Muslim wedding in Shoaib’s hometown, Bhopal. For the wedding, the actress converted to Islam and was quoted as saying, “Joh sach hai woh hai (Truth is the truth). It's true I have done it, but why and when I have done it, don't think it needs to be talked about. I think it is a very personal matter and I don't think I need to talk about it openly in front of the media. For the audience and media, we are actors have always shared everything. All our happy moments we have shared with you all, but this I think is a very personal space and I don't give anyone the permission to enter the space. Definitely, it is true and I am not denying it. I am very happy and proud that I have done it for myself and my happiness. My family was with me in this decision and my intentions were to hurt anyone. Talking about her decision of an inter-religion marriage, she opened up, “I feel that when you are a celebrity you are constantly under the scanner and there are people who love you, but then there are also people who try to bring you down. We have always taken decisions in life only keeping our family in mind, if they are happy and fine then rest of the world doesn't matter to us. I don't consider myself a celebrity, we are very simple people and we like to lead a simple life.”
Do you know when the two realised that it’s love? In an interview, Dipika shared, “When Shaoib quit SSK we still met and kept in touch, but when he went to Bhopal for a month and he was completely out of sight that's when we realized that it is love. The toughest part for me was when he left to shoot in Bikaner for 40 days in 2015 that was the most difficult phase.” Shoaib nodded to the same and added, “The same 40 days played an important role in bringing Dipika closer to my family. After I came back I realized my mother and sister always talked about her first.”
