Now, after 5 years of seeing each other and one being 33 and the other, 32, it’s only fair that they get hitched soon. And guess what? After all the reports doing rounds everywhere about Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh’s November wedding this year, we have a sweet surprise for you. Their wedding venue has been finalised as per a report in Filmfare, and it’s a destination wedding in Italy! The exact venue is the beautiful and scenic, Lake Como. A source told Filmfare, “Both Ranveer and Deepika were keen on having a destination wedding in Italy and they have finalised Lake Como as their wedding destination. The place is dotted with exquisite villas along the shoreline, which is why both of them decided to wed in this beautiful place”.
Because it’s a destination wedding, not all their industry friends would be able to grace the occasion. However, an earlier report suggested that Arjun Kapoor, who is close to Ranveer, and Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika’s first Bollywood co-star, would attend the wedding in Italy. Later, the couple will throw a lavish reception party in Mumbai for the friends from the film fraternity.
Regarding the same, a source had revealed to the DNA, “Both, Ranveer and Deepika, were keen to have a small ceremony. The wedding at a foreign destination will give them the privacy they desire. They will probably have a reception in Mumbai for their friends and colleagues. A few people from Bollywood like Arjun Kapoor, who is one of Ranveer’s closest B-Town buddies, and Shah Rukh Khan, who is fond of Deepika, may join the celebrations in Italy. Earlier media reports had suggested that Italy is one of the most likely places where Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh’s wedding would take place. It was reported in a media portal, “The wedding takes place in Italy or Bangalore or both, just like Virat and Anushka’s. The family was also toying with the idea of Udaipur palace but that didn’t work out. Preparations are in full swing from both sides. Ladies have begun the wedding shopping. Ranveer is extremely excited about the wedding and is evidently on cloud 9 with both his professional and personal life being on a high”.
As for the date of DeepVeer’s wedding, reportedly it will be November 10, 2018. Filmfare had earlier reported, “The maximum time was taken to decide the date. Both Ranveer and Deepika want everything about their marriage to be perfect. November 10th suited their calendars as well as their parents. The roka was done long back and the wedding date was finalised just a few weeks ago”.
However, neither Ranveer nor Deepika have yet confirmed their wedding. In an interview which Ranveer did a while ago, he was quoted as saying, “It is the function of speculation – to exist. Nothing is official till it is made official and I am not a seer. I cannot say this will happen on this date in the future. Right now, we are both extremely busy working. Besides, she is also recuperating from back problems. So, we are quite occupied and distracted. So, if there is any announcement in the future, you will be hearing me shouting from the rooftops”.
