'Storage Wars' Actor, Dave Hester Addresses Cyberbullying Claims Around Darrell Sheets' Sudden Death

The entire film industry is currently mourning the unexpected demise of actor, Darrell Sheets, who was best-known for his performance in the iconic show, Storage Wars. For the unversed, the actor passed away on April 22, 2026, at the age of 67. Ever since his death, there have been multiple claims of cyberbullying. Well now, Darrell's co-star, Dave Hester, recently paid a heart touching tribute to the late actor and he also addressed the cyberbullying reports. 

Dave Hester addressed cyberbullying claims around Darrell Sheets’ passing

A while ago, Dave Hester took to his Instagram handle to share a video, in which he spoke about the tragic passing of Darrell Sheets. The actor appeared to be in a car and he looked shocked by Darrell’s death. In the video, he addressed the reports of the late actor being cyberbullied and hoped that a proper investigation might be going on regarding the same. He was quoted as saying:

"A lot of you guys know Darrell Sheets passed yesterday and I've seen a bunch of silly, goofy comments online that he didn't wish to address. I know there was some stuff there about cyberbullying. I don't even know how that exists because I turn that type of stuff off. But I'm sure its out there. And if its happening, or happened, I hope that its taken care of the way it should be."

Further, Dave Hester remembered Darrell Sheets as a big part of the show, Storage Wars. For the unversed, the show began in 2010 and Darrell was a part of it till 2023. In the recently shared video, Dave explained that he had his best battles with Darrell. He also recalled the good memories with him. In his words:

"He was part of the Storage Wars family. He was a big part of the show for a long time. Storage Wars has a big family. They're still going and will keep going. And we'll stick together. We all love Darrell Sheets. Even though he wasn't actively filming at the time, he's always there. Some of my best battles are with him. Again, those will just be good memories."

Dave Hester offers strength to Darrell Sheets’ family

Towards the end of the video, Dave Hester offered strength to Darrell Sheets’ family. He also wished and prayed that the late actor is in a better and peaceful place. For the unversed, Darrell was married to a real estate agent, Kimber Wuerfel. However, they eventually got separated. Apart from this, Darrell was also engaged to Romney Snyder, who stood beside him during a serious heart attack. It is worth noting that the late actor was a father to two children, Brandon Sheets and Tiffany Sheets. Dave Hester shared:

"I hope the best for his family and everything and everybody's where they need to be, at peace. I hope he's in a better place. That's all I can say. Yup man out."

Coming to Darrell Sheets' unexpected death, he passed away on April 22, 2026, at the age of 67. According to police reports, they were called to his home at midnight. When they reached, they found Darrell with what looked like a gunshot wound at his head. Later, it was revealed that Darrell was dealing with cyberbullying before his death. As of now, an official investigation is going on. It is also worth mentioning that his sudden demise has sparked conversations about mental health and negativity.
