A photo was recently obtained by TMZ, where Darrell Sheets was seen laughing as he encountered some people at his antique shop in Lake Havasu, AZ. The actor was reportedly seen smiling and was in a good mood hours before his shocking death. Darrell Sheets had been running the shop ever since he stepped away from the glamour world, which happened after his health struggles. He was last spotted on April 21, 2026, around 5 PM (local time).

In the photo, he was seen posing happily for a photo and an eyewitness revealed to TMZ that he was upbeat and friendly during the encounters that happened at the shop. Speaking of his health struggles, it was in 2019, when he suffered a heart attack, for which he was ill for several months. 

After that, he also developed congestive heart failure and critical lung complications that required another surgery. He was in the recovery phase, and stepped away from the glamour world. After he retired from Storage Wars, he relocated to Lake Havasu and opened a shop named Havasu Show Me Your Junk, where locals and his fans would come and meet the late actor.

While speaking about him, Rene mentioned that for the last few months, the actor was facing cyberbullying. While he didn't share the details, he revealed that a guy was simply tormenting Darrell. Rene further asked people not to do the same, thinking that what they say in their reel-life is a reality.

It was only on March 11, 2026, when Darrell Sheets shared a tweet on his social media handle, revealing his stalker's identity. He dropped a tweet by revealing the identity of the stalker while adding that for the last three years, this harassment has been going on. He further mentioned that the stalker used his name and acted as a handyman and extorted money from people. He also added in his tweet that if something happens, then it's not him, but rather his stalker.
