Storage Wars' Darrell Sheets Revealed The Identity Of His Cyber Stalker A Month Before His Death

Storage Wars star, Darrell Sheets' death has come as a shock to many and his colleagues are left mourning. Nicknamed as ‘The Gambler’, Sheets was known for his bold bids and sharp instincts on Storage Wars and had appeared on the first 15 seasons of the show. The reality star died from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head and his body was recovered from his Arizona residence.

Darrell Sheets revealed the identity of his stalker a month before his death

After Sheets’ death, his former co-star, Rene Nezhoda revealed that Sheets had recently been bullied online. The Lake Havasu City Police Department is currently investigating the cyberbullying connected with the case. Almost a month prior to his death, Sheets made a public post on his socials media handles and revealed the identity of his stalker. Explaining how he was being harassed, Sheets wrote:

“Well people here is my cyber bully stalker. He has been going after other small businesses in town and harassing them using my name. It is not me. He has extorted money from many people in this town acting like a handyman. This has been going on for 3 years with him and the things he says are very damaging. This is a felony called cyber bullying.”

Darrell Sheets’ cast member raised an alarm about the star being cyber bullied

Hours after Darrell Sheets’ death his co-star from Storage Wars posted a video on social media stating that Sheets had been dealing with a bully online. Nezhoda revealed that there was a guy who was cyberbullying Sheets and the actor had been posing a lot about the same on his social media handles.

Nezhoda shared that the bully was tormenting Sheets. Nezhoda urged the Police officials to look into the guy and do not let the bullying go unnoticed. Nezhoda also said:

“Guys, just 'cause you watch us on television doesn't mean you know us. It doesn't mean you know what we're about. Also, it doesn't entitle you to bully somebody."

On April 22, 2026, officers at the Lake Havasu City Police Department received a call regarding a deceased individual. Upon arrival, officers located a male who suffered a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head. He was pronounced dead on the scene. Later, it was confirmed that the man was Darrell, and the case is still under investigation. Though the initial reports suggest gunshot wound as the reason behind Sheets’ death, forensic department’s final confirmation is awaited.

For the unversed, Darrell Sheets had been dealing with a few health issues. In the last few years. In 2019, he suffered a heart attack, and he was required to take care of himself. Following the heart attack, he also developed congestive heart failure and critical lung complications, which needed a surgery. Sheets had been in the recovery phase, and was staying away from the limelight to take care of himself.
