It was in 2019 when rumours about telly star, Charu Asopa dating Sushmita Sen’s brother, Rajeev Sen were doing the rounds. And putting an end to all rumours, Sushmita had taken to Instagram and announced to all that her brother has popped the ‘big question’ to his beloved Charu and she had given her big nod. And thus, in no time (June16, 2019), Charu and Rajeev had tied the knot in a destination wedding in Goa and became one another’s forever. And ever since, Charu has been enjoying her happily wedded bliss with Rajeev and her in-laws.
How doting a bahu Charu Asopa Sen is and how much in awe is she, of her in-laws, is not unknown to anyone. And as her father-in-law, Shubeer Sen turns 76 today (December 19, 2019), his daughter-in-law posted a heartfelt birthday wish for him. Charu Asopa and Rajeev Sen surely look like a match made straight out of heaven. In an interview with the Bombay Times, the Mere Angne Mein actress had revealed if it was love at first sight for them. She had shared, "After our first meeting, we had decided to catch up again over coffee, but I left for my hometown, Bikaner. I was on a much-needed break after my show, Jiji Maa, ended. In fact, I hadn’t decided when to return. However, as luck would have it, I was offered KarnSangini and had to report on the set the very next day. I texted Rajeev from the set and told him that we could meet for coffee. I had assumed that the meeting would end in half an hour. However, we went on talking for hours until I told him that I had to leave as I had an early call time the next day. We started chatting, spending time together and the rest, as they say, is history.
