Iconic cricketer, Bishan Singh Bedi is one of the finest bowlers of his generation, and at the recent award ceremony in Mumbai, he was honoured with the Lifetime Achievement Award for his noteworthy contribution to Indian cricket. A slow left-arm bowler, Bishan Singh Bedi had taken 266 wickets in just 67 Tests, which speaks everything about his legacy as one of the finest spin bowlers in Indian cricket's history. In 1970, the former cricketer was also awarded the prestigious Padma Shri Award.
Despite being allegedly named in controversies like the Vaseline incident in 1977-78 and match forfeiting incident in 1978, Bishan Singh Bedi's stature in the history of Indian cricket is still quite mammoth. Apart from his cricketing career, Bishan is also hailed for his humble nature and his will to motivate young cricketers.

On October 14, 2022, Neha Dhupia Bedi took to her Instagram handle and shared a video from the TOISA (Times of India Sports Awards) Awards ceremony, which was held in Mumbai. In the priceless video, we can spot Neha Dhupia's husband, Angad Bedi, on the stage and giving the Lifetime Achievement Award to his father and iconic cricketer, Bishan Singh Bedi. On March 29, 2022, Angad Bedi had to his Instagram handle and shared an adorable video with his father, Bishan Singh Bedi. In the video, we could spot the doting son giving a pedicure to his dearest daddy, who looked immensely happy in the clip. Alongside the priceless video, Angad had penned a note in Punjabi stating how he finds peace in his father's feet. His note could be read as:
"Eh time mud ke vaapas naai auna!!! Jeeyunda reh Bapu. Tere pairaan vich hi vasdi meri duniya."
