The 30-year-old singer, Ariana Grande, had always been very private regarding her relationship with her ex-husband, Dalton Gomez. After the fiasco with her ex-fiance, American comedian, Pete Davidson, the singer did not want another public relationship. The ex-couple, Ariana and Dalton, was first spotted together in 2020. As per reports, they said ‘I do’ after five months of their engagement.
The duo was so deeply in love with one another that they didn't hesitate to share personal and intimate pictures of their wedding day with their fans. Ethan will play the character ‘Boq’ and Ariana will play the character ‘Glinda’ in their upcoming movie. As per sources, the duo’s relationship is no surprise as they have been dating for quite some time now.
The American actor, Ethan Slater got married to his high school sweetheart, Lilly Jay, in 2018. The couple has been in a relationship since 2012. In 2022, Ethan and Lilly celebrated their ten years of togetherness and also welcomed a beautiful son. As per reports, Ethan even shared a heartfelt post on Instagram on Mother’s Day in May 2023.
However, after the reports of a brewing romance between Ethan Slater and Ariana Grande emerged in the media, the actor officially filed for divorce from Lilly. But it is reported that Ethan had informed his wife, Lilly, about his relationship with Ariana even before the news broke out in the media.

Ariana deleted thousands of posts from her Instagram in May 2023, including her engagement announcement and wedding pictures. Fans also noticed that Gomez had deactivated his personal Instagram account.
The day following Ariana’s tennis outing, TMZ reported, citing unnamed sources close to the couple, that Ariana and Dalton had been living apart for some time and were heading for divorce. According to reports in the People, Ariana and Dalton are trying to remain friends.
As per reports, sources who are close to Lilly Jay have mentioned that Ethan’s relationship with Ariana has broken Lilly’s heart. Lilly thinks Ethan has left his family, his wife and newborn son, in distress. She feels abandoned.
