The American supermodel, Gigi Hadid, showed a kind gesture towards her former partner, the British singer, Zayn Malik. The picture posted by the singer did not have a caption. It has received over a million likes, including a like from the singer's former partner, Gigi.
For the people who don’t know, Gigi Hadid and Zayn Malik welcomed their daughter, Khai in 2020. The ex-couple was rumoured to have started dating in 2015. They had been in an on-again and off-again relationship. The couple finally parted ways in 2021 after Zayn’s fallout with Gigi’s mother.

Love Like This is the first song he has released since signing a deal with the American record label, Mercury Records. In his recent interview on the Call Her Daddy podcast hosted by Alex Cooper, Zayn opened up about many things. He shared details about his peaceful life in Pennsylvania, early fame, X Factor audition, memories of One Direction, and his choice to leave the band. Zayn also shared his experiences being a father and how it has changed his priorities, as he also talked about the effects of fame on his mental health. He said:
“Since I’ve had my daughter and since she was born, the main thing in my mind is trying to be a good example to her. In terms of, I can do things and I can achieve things and I can overcome things—and you can do this, too.”
Zayn continued by saying that dealing with fame has made him highly protective of his daughter's privacy. He mentioned that it was his choice to be in the public domain and his daughter's choice. He said:
“There’s just people always there waiting to take a photo. Obviously, thinking about having a child and raising her in that environment, it was just very claustrophobic for me. I didn’t want her to have to be exposed to that because she didn’t choose it. It was a choice that I made.”
Zayn also mentioned that the duo has a good dynamic regarding their daughter, Khai. He added that both of them are on the same page when it comes to their daughter and think that she is most important. He said:
“Co-parenting is good. We have a really good relationship for Khai. She’s the main importance. It’s going well.”
The former One Direction member, Zayn Malik has never been up and about with media interviews. In the same podcast, he revealed that he felt overexposed in the band and decided to take time for himself and not do any interviews. Zayn also credited his daughter, Khai for inspiring change in him. He said:
"Since I've had my daughter, the main thing in my mind is trying to be a good example to her. That's why I'm even doing this interview, you know? I used to get a lot of anxiety around having a conversation like this. And I want her to be able to look at me and be like, 'My dad's doing this.'"
