They claimed that Ricky has been a joyful presence amid her ongoing Eternal Sunshine tour. The source was quoted as saying:
“She’s having a great time on tour. She loves having close friends join her for parts of the tour. Ricky has always been a friend and confidant. She really trusts him. He has such great, positive energy, makes her laugh, and she enjoys spending time with him.”
For those unaware, Ariana and Ricky, who is her Turner backup dancer, had dated for a short while, from 2015 to 2016. However, this was enough for Ricky to get a mention alongside some of her other famous exes in her song, Thank U, Next, where she sings, “Wrote some songs about Ricky / Now I listen and laugh.” In a recent concert, while singing the same song, Ariana decided to give him a sweet shoutout with a sweet lyric change:

The source went on to add that Ariana is “doing really well” after her split from her longtime boyfriend and Wicked co-star, Ethan Slater. Many had believed that their breakup would be temporary and that they would be back together sooner or later. But the source begged to differ. They said:

Even though sources insisted there was nothing romantic going on between them, many fans didn't believe it.
