'Off Campus' Star, Ella Bright Calls Belmont Cameli Her 'Brother', Amid Romance Buzz, 'I Love Him..'

A few days ago, Ella Bright sparked dating rumours with her co-star, Belmont Cameli. Well, now the actress has opened up about the same. And to everyone's surprise, she described Belmont as her 'brother', leaving millions of fans heartbroken.
Ella Bright describes Belmont Cameli as her ‘brother’
Recently, Ella Bright appeared on the podcast, In Your Dreams with Owen Thiele, during which she opened up about her dating rumours with Belmont Cameli. Talking about the same, she explained that she totally understands the feeling of Off Campus fans; however, Belmont is like a brother to her. Explaining the same, Ella was quoted as saying:
"I totally get it, but it is so weird. He's literally my brother. I love him so much, but yeah, it’s very funny."
A few months ago, Ella opened up about being best friends with Belmont. She recalled her first meeting with him and shared that they became friends easily as they used to spend nearly 15-16 hours. She had shared:
"I remember the first time I met Belmont, we did the first kiss scene between Hannah and Garrett, obviously without the kissing. But it was really funny, because we would get really, really close and they would go, 'And cut!'. We have so much fun together. He's the greatest. We met at the chemistry reads, we got each other's numbers and we've just been friends ever since. I mean, when you spend that much time with someone on set — we'd have like 15, 16-hour days — you have to be just the best of friends. I really look up to him a lot."
Belmont Cameli is in a relationship
For those who do not know, Belmont Cameli is already in a relationship with Raina Morris. After sparking rumours on social media for a while, the duo made their first red carpet appearance in March 2025. Reportedly, Raina also attended the premiere of Off Campus. Belmont has rarely spoken about his romance with Raina.
After the release of Off Campus, multiple fans hailed Belmont's chemistry with Ella and speculated if the former had broken up with his ladylove. However, she allegedly hit back at the rumours by sharing a photo of the actor on her Instagram Stories. She had shared a photo of Belmont in his hockey gear. It looked as if the photo was from the shoot of Off Campus.
Talking about Ella Bright, she is currently single and is not ready to mingle. During the same appearance on the podcast, Ella Bright stated, "I don’t know if I would date actors. Right now I am single, not ready to mingle. I’m loving it. It’s actually been awesome. I think, like, [amid] this kind of big change in life, [it’s] just really nice to kind of be doing it for myself and also just trying to sit with it."
