In one part of the black-and-white video, eagle-eyed fans seemed to spot Ariana kissing Ricky Alvarez.
It was an unclear shot, which might have gone unnoticed, but fans didn't miss it. The footage featured Ariana Grande rehearsing ahead of her final show in London, then walking over to the edge of the stage, where Ricky was taking pictures of her. She then knelt, and they shared a passionate kiss. Many thought that Ariana's team accidentally left her kissing shot in the final cut of the montage.
Others were of the opinion that it was a deliberate move by the singer to confirm her romance rumours with 35-year-old Ricky Alvarez. It heightened Ariana's already existing marriage buzz with him.

The original lyrics about Ricky are- "Wrote some songs about Ricky/ Now I listen and laugh." Recently, on September 1, 2026, attendees at Ariana Grande's London show heard her sing:
"Wrote some songs about Ricky/I'm tryna make him my last."
The changed lyrics led fans to believe that their favorite pop star was planning to make Ricky Alvarez her "last" love. It heightened the already existing rumors about Ariana and Ricky's marriage. Just a day before her final Eternal Sunshine show, she was spotted with her mother at a high-end jewellery store, sparking speculation that she was buying an engagement ring.
The next day, Ariana herself fuelled the engagement and marriage buzz with Ricky by changing the lyrics of Thank U, Next. The song's "make his my last" part convinced her fans that she has finally found her 'the one' and would like to spend the rest of her life with him. However, it should be noted that the wedding buzz is entirely based on her fans' speculation, and the singer hasn't issued any statement regarding it.
Ricky Alvarez is Ariana Grande's ex-boyfriend and closest pal, who has also been her backup dancer on her Honeymoon tour in 2015. The duo dated briefly for over a year, starting in 2015 and split in July 2016. Now, after a decade, they fuelled rumors of reconciliation.
